We're still in the first young stages of this championship so it'll go better in the future.

I'm making an OFFICIAL regulations and sanctioning document so it'll all be in one place. I'll post it on the OP when I am finished. Crazy and outta nowhere changes will be done no more once this document is published, and majority of the potential problems that we could run into will be addressed in it.

I'll let y'all know when it is up and ready.

Alright guys here it is, It took me about 3 hours to write, but it's finished.

This will be used for the rest of the series and any series I plan on hosting in the future. If you have any questions about anything, let me know. The link is also on the OP as well.

Endurance Runner's Rules, Regulations, and Sanctioning Guide

This is the OFFICIAL Regulation guide for Endurance Runners series Championships.

Please read this guide guys. There aren't any changes on it, just in-depth details about certain procedures that I never got to touch up on.

Looks good.

A suggestion or two:

I would make the parade lap and caution period laps have the same speed restriction. Easier to remember.

Clarify whether during caution periods you are to maintain the gap to the car in front while going 70 or close the gap and then go 70 miles per hour.

Also add a section about foul play, intentional wrecking, and "crashgate" scandals.

Explain tire wear/degradation rate to be utilized as well as other room settings.

I have a suggestion and a doubt:

1. What do you think if we do an parade lap in the last lap? Because if done, It will be much easier for the people finishing the race, as GT6 has an finish up to 180 seconds.

2. Why did you set Tire Wear to "Very Fast" instead of "Normal"? If not mistaken, the Tyre Wear is set to normal in Real Life.

180 seconds is more than enough time to let the rest of the field finish. A parade lap at the end would just be confusing and pointless and would also render the timing feature of Gran Turismo void.

You're right, but on FGTA CORE Rules and Regulations also there was an Parade Lap.

"Parade Lap

A finish with a parade lap is when the race ends on the penultimate lap. The chequered flag is declared when the leader crosses the line to start his final lap.

3SNS3-WtbnVKod_Z7a01gAJq3GreY8h_KSL7a6LUgKT6IB3-qH2E8ceAUCseFj1EB6sMMTDvocaYVdZz2hF4fR0p2cywwBWOXNsWeYFla76sXzY0kv5tjUls84yqoYlWQJzxxeM

The winner will then begin his parade lap and slow down to cruising speed. The other drivers may race until they next cross the finish line, once done they must not overtake and maintain formation. Once everyone has crossed the line, the leader will complete the final lap to trigger the race timer which will be set to 30 seconds.

The advantage of this is that tail enders won't have to race through cars which have already finished the race, and it is easier to calculate the number of laps down a driver was."

Since we're running a multi class race I guess I can see the need.

Also, I'll be at today's qualifying session since my 1:34 from yesterday was on RS.

Lol that was my fault. I thought I did that, then again I was half sleep at the time. I plan on doing some revisions and a little more explaining.

Also add a section about foul play, intentional wrecking, and "crashgate" scandals.

Can you explain "Crashgate" scandals. Never heard of that.

Explain tire wear/degradation rate to be utilized as well as other room settings.

Thought I mentioned it in the OP. As tire wear/degradation will vary per series as not every race series will be 30 minutes like this one.

2. Why did you set Tire Wear to "Very Fast" instead of "Normal"? If not mistaken, the Tyre Wear is set to normal in Real Life.

When did I have it set to Very Fast? It's always on fast. and yes Harsk, it is normal in real life but we are not running an actual 4 hour race. So I have to adjust it accordingly.

Since we don't have race stewards timing or recording this race, this idea will not happen anytime soon. CORE has a different setup than I do. Plus the have more people sanctioning and hosting events.

Hmm... I see.

Hmm... I understand your situation.

Maybe in the future if I get more support from people and have consistent attendance, I might implement this rule. Also It'd be good if someone had a capture card.
I do not have an capture card mate, but I can record videos with my camera.

If you want a good capture card, like a really good one, you'll need a Elgato one but I heard they're well expensive. Also, what time will the room be open? I'll definately be there tonight.

Naaah. I can do that. Kinda want someone with a capture card to record the replay or race so it looks like you're watching an actual race. Feel me?
Why don't you want people to record with a camera, too?

Well, I'm sure that the qualify is at the same time as normal race: 20:00 BST (21:00 GMT+1 for Belgium).

Yeah the elgato one is like $150  Didn't know they were that expensive. but the room will open up at 2:45 EST. but we won't start until 3:00 P.M. So in translation, room opens at 8:45 Qualifying starts 9:00.

Won't look as good.

It turns out I will not be able to attend this Friday's race. I will also not be able to attend next weekend as I will be out of town. I hope to make it to some of these races in the future.
