Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

Think your shots are in a word amazing. The FTO shot is very impressive the angle, blur and clean lines is very effective. You always seem to be good at cleaning up pictures on here I would love it if you could give me any tips on improving my clean ups and motion burs.

Thanks guys, I've actually been thinking about making a big tutorial for a very long time but I need people to convince me so I really go for it as a tutorial with such quality as it would be in my pictures takes up alot of time :indiff: Anyway, I've got a new update ready!

Black Beauty @ New York
February 7th, 2007

I've been doing two different versions of this on, most will like the first one most but I like the over-glow the most actually, gives me a special feeling. I hope you like the clean up, it may look weird on some spots but cleaning up the black to get an flat and clean area was more difficult then I thought, some areas did require three types of blurs to get them clean. I also like this camera angle lately, it makes any car look mean! Anyway, let me hear what you think of these 👍

Man, those are great!

1st one is my favorite, though. It's so clean it hurts my eyes...

Very nice job with the black car color, came out beautiful, not washed out and not too black.

The FTO looks pretty sweet too, very impressive.

Have you tried applying dirt along the part where the Bridgestone logo is in the front? it's an area that would usually be dirty, due to aerodynamics, and it would probably enhance the dirt on the lower part of the bumper.
As it is, the dirt you did appears to be more of a shadow on those areas, but it still works fine. Just my thoughts, amazing work, nevertheless.

Oh, and... DO THE TUTORIAL!!!!

It seems you have fallen in love with New York! The shots look really good though. New York gives some really nice reflections. No other track gives reflections so well as New York. The FTO is very colorful. I just have one thing with it though... I think you should try to tighten up the hood and fender gaps. They are very broad and dark in your image, and they don't look bad, but I think you could acheive a much more attractive and realistic image if you could decrease their boldness and width. Do you understand what I mean?

Anyway, the GT One looks really nice too. It has a nice softness to it. The second version of it is a bit cloudy and dreamy for my liking, but the first one looks very nice.

Keep it up Ultra!👍

Not entirely, do you mean that the hood is a bit messy. I agree with you on the fenders on the hood, they were difficult to do.

Thanks alot though 👍

Very clean shot ultra. The reflection looks really nice and the car just looks so shiny. You should try adding some noise to the road so the blurred parts of the picture aren't so soft looking.

I knew something was missing out! Noise always give the final touch to the reflections as well 👍

Anyway, thanks Krame 👍

Ouch!!!!! that shot is mak....i...n.g.......  me drool ooops sorry
great pics 👍

I usually dislike a bit the 2nd kind of shots because they seems like a simply distort filter applied. I know it doesn't really Bram, it looks quite nicely-ghostly, so compared with the "original" I went with this one.

I personally like even more the GTone than FTO, because this is technically better imo. All surfaces are very well cleaned, crisp edges and a lot of reflections covering the black shape. The middle division of the car using the light is very interesting and difficult to catch ingame I guess.

The reflection of the left (Or right "automotively" talking haha) makes overstand that muscle of the car. For me, you have used a very nice photo base for enhance all things wich could make it better 👍 Seems like you have saved even the Toyota logo!

Overall, the image is very menacing itself, interesting to see the monster closely :D

Hey again Bram, havn't visited here in awhile...

First up, the FTO; 'Striking' at first glance (which is what you do best), and the vivid colours make for a artistic photo in total. As for the 'artificially applied dirt effect' It doesn't seem to work and it looks like an area uncleaned.

The GT-One update: Beatifully illustrated, the reflections are amazing. The first photo is one of the finest you've ever done Bram, extremely clean. Three different blurs is something I've never tried... (Gives me a few ideas...)

As for the 'ghastly' addition, I think it's creative and definately looks how it should. But the Diffuse glow is something I'm not too fond of, as it seems to deteriorate the realism of the final product.

Nevertheless, I would love too see a photo of such high-quality as the first GT-One photo, two thumbs up. 👍👍

The GTONE is jawdropping and very road killing style
Excellent with the first one, second one seems too much glow but the overexposure thing works for me 👍

Amazing GT one. The change in shadow down the middle of the car looks really awesome. The reflections are way cool. You also did a fine job blurring the shot to make it seem powerful and mean.

On the second, I think it looks a bit fuzzy and bright. To each his own style, I guess. I like the dark protion of the car, however.

that looks great. but i'm hoping to see some different angles and a different location from you one day hehehehe

They are :scared: too smooth? I feel like that is completely unrealistic but it is very innovative. The smooth factor has been over done in my opinion, but keep in mind thats only me . I actually like the second version much better because it blocks out some of the liquid like body. Good job nonetheless.

Photo Galleries Podcast
February 8th, 2007

A little something I did. It is based on MistaX' podcast but this podcast is about the Photo Galleries and the competitions. It's something to keep you informed of what's happening and my own thoughts on updates as well. It's crappy but it's the first time I do something like this. I didn't speak loud enough so you'll have to throw up the sound of your boxes so I recommend closing any sound making programs  Should this be appreciated in any way, I'll make a second episode but if no one likes it, it's done. Easy as that ;) In order to listen to itm you need to click the link and wait some seconds. Then a bar with the download starter should appear 👍

i have never posted in this gallery and im ashamed. its a very good collection. i will look through more later, but as of right now, 👍:)

I listened to the whole podcast (skipping some bits admitidly) but it was good but speak louder next time please I had to turn everything off just to hear you. It was generally good but I think it would be better if you just did gallerys instead of comps as well. Also the shorter the better keeps people more intrested in it.

Thanks guys, I was very unsure wether this was a good idea so that's way I didn't really tuned up the volume of my voice :D I'll speak louder next time though 👍

Oh and i you spot any errors in my English, please say so, I try to hide my Belgian speaking English as good as I can

You certainly dont sound Belgian more if you dont mind me saying american than belgian. But youre english was perfect so dont worry about it.

Yeah i agree with speedster your english was great!!
I can't wait for future podcasts!

I'm currently listening to the podcast, I quite like your accent! :)I liked your comments about the 2.0 Tournament entries, they were all a bit bland and whatnot...But thanks for complimenting on mine and Slips' entries!

It's given me ideas to do one of my own now, but it would be pointless since you're doing it! 👍

EDIT: Just got to the end, "Watch your anus" had me in stitches! Hahaha. I can't wait to see your version of it.
