Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

Good start of podcasting 👍
you have similar problem as mistraX ... pausing
I suggest you pre-open all threads you want to talk about and be prepared like doing presentation in school. Also try to talk about certain shots in deeper level, using slipztrem's critics would be a great reference (for the tournament entries). The part you comment about FA's "Suave" is very funny, hope he won't be mad at you at the end ;) Also I suggest to play some good rock music between the show to keep things interesting. Can't wait to hear your next show 👍

Photo Galleries Podcast
February 8th, 2007

A little something I did. It is based on MistaX' podcast but this podcast is about the Photo Galleries and the competitions. It's something to keep you informed of what's happening and my own thoughts on updates as well. It's crappy but it's the first time I do something like this. I didn't speak loud enough so you'll have to throw up the sound of your boxes so I recommend closing any sound making programs  Should this be appreciated in any way, I'll make a second episode but if no one likes it, it's done. Easy as that ;) In order to listen to itm you need to click the link and wait some seconds. Then a bar with the download starter should appear 👍

Since you do a podcast, you may be intrested in writing some gallery reviews in the future, in this Gallery reviews topic:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=90789

i enjoyed your podcast! i followed you around through the forum as you spoke. please do full coverage of all the photomode tournament rounds! that would be sweet.

Thanks guys 👍

I'll definitly keep up with the Tournament, that was planned anyway since it's the biggest competition here when it's active ;)

About FA's "Suave" That wasn't meant negative, did it sound like that? I was trying to ask him what that actually meant, "suave" :D

Glad to see that more people are being inspired to do this sort of thing, it definitely adds a new and interesting dimension to the forums 👍

Only criticism I have is that it's a bit long. Most people don't have a full half hour to commit to listening to the whole thing! I'd suggest either breaking it up into more parts (and giving us an idea of what is being covered in each part) or to trim it down to be more concise. But otherwise, I like it alot!

P.S. Is it really 'Dang-er' Orange?! :dopey:

I enjoyed the podcast pretty much man, you did a great job. I also like your accent. It's funny to me how you pronounce some names on here, I'm curious how'd you pronounce my name, haha. ;) The idea is also very nice, I'd never think of it, and you don't sound Norwegian (while I don't know how they talk) but you have a perfect English. 👍 BTW I don't know either what suave means. I looked it up in a translator and translated directly from Dutch it is "zacht", means "soft" in English. Anyways keep up this thing I'm really enjoying it, it brings the community closer to me, to say it like this. :) I also would like some deeper reviews like Franz said, but you're doing well now already.

It was interesting for me too, to hear you pronounce various names.
The two you may have got wrong were:

Danger Orange - 'Dayn-jer Orange'
440 Charger = 'Four Fourty Charger' (I guess)

Other than that and a few minor bits here and there it sounded great 👍

It was quite amusing for me, but in a good way :D. I love you accent, it's great. And the pausing where you drag out the 'ummmmmm'. Great idea though, hope to see more in the future.

interesting work on the podcast. it's funny how you say my shot looks like a PS1 screenshot, background wise and voted it for it anways. what is wrong with that ? i mean, i thank you for the vote, but it's just a bit weird you said that. i like the rest of the review though. second, i think you should work on your speech skills. you sound like eddie irvine after waking up with a hang over. i would laugh if you lose the 2nd round.

ps: no pun intended btw. i actually appreciate what you've done. i hope to see more of it. perhaps it could spread the word of gtp and what we're up to around here. i wish deviant art and the bastards that requested or thought gt4 photo's should be deleted, would come here and see all this. thank you for the review!! well done! :)

First let me say that the GT-one pics are very good. Not or usual style, but very creative. About the podcast...I can´t ear or download:( Don´t know what is happening but it must be some problem with the 4shared.com server.
Cheers mate. Bring more updates soon:)

Thanks guys, I've actually been thinking about making a big tutorial for a very long time but I need people to convince me so I really go for it as a tutorial with such quality as it would be in my pictures takes up alot of time :indiff: Anyway, I've got a new update ready!

Black Beauty @ New York
February 7th, 2007

I've been doing two different versions of this on, most will like the first one most but I like the over-glow the most actually, gives me a special feeling. I hope you like the clean up, it may look weird on some spots but cleaning up the black to get an flat and clean area was more difficult then I thought, some areas did require three types of blurs to get them clean. I also like this camera angle lately, it makes any car look mean! Anyway, let me hear what you think of these 👍

WOW AND DAMN! My fave GT1 car in such a unique layout. I am drooling all over my keyboard.

You are by far one of the best GT4 photographers on this forum. That GT1 is seriously spectacular. Please take more, I am going to go look further into this thread. Your pictures are inspiration!

THanks guys, glad to hear so much reactions. JD, what I actually meant was that I think it was so dumb of PD to put in such crappy trees at the Nurb where you take alot of scenery shots so you'd expect everything to be nicely created. I loved your shot, but I hated the way PD made those trees.

Well, there is so much to talk about that I was thinking of doing 2 podcasts in a week. There are so many updates in a week, it's hard to keep it under 30 minutes so I'll leave the choice to you guys 👍

Good luck in the tournaments BTW, I don't know how about you, but Ihaven't got anything to even keep up with your entry which will probably pwne me after I saw what you did with LGF...

"Messed up picture what should've been an entry"

Thought I'd enter the tournaments with this picture but it was just too much crap in it to even make a chance so I'll just post it here 👍

Those borders are too much on the picture.. wich indeed messes it up. Lovely blur btw, and i like how the yaris seems to be keeping up with the 787B

I listened to the podcast and yeah, i'm dissapointed with my shot too.. it has been 2 weeks ago from the dualnote shot since i made a shot then, and i downloaded a savegame and was like woah i have the dualnote :scared:

My name is said as "Ray-kwa-sa" XD

The update is good, but not your best. I don't actually mind the border that much, the only thing that perhaps let down the picture was -

-Too much 'diffuse glow' led to a lack of fine details on the front-ends of the vehicles and the glow from the Toyota Yaris RS Turbo against the relatively small amount on the 787B caused a little dissimilarity.

-The background looks odd in that green hue.

-The lack of clean-up on the side doors of the Yaris.

-The lack of a shadow from the Yaris' front-wheel against the road looks a little odd and lowers the realism of the photo.

But then again, I'm just being fastidious (No, that word did not come from the top of my head); It's another great photo.

Photo Galleries Podcast Episode 2

It should be better then the last one...I decided to do 2 in a week since everyone thinks 30 minute-podcasts are crappy...The following link provides you the download, you will need to wait for the download menu to appear:

http://www.4shared.com/file/10613870/258e20d7/Episode2.html

EDIT: To my latest surprise, it has occured that at the end of the podcast, sounds were mixed up, so that sucks. I hope you like the rest though...

Great Podcast lol. Good english your right. Thanks for mentioning my gallery. Oh and the best part is at the beginning. "Its big like hell". Great stuff mate.

The second one is much better, i love the fact that you put in some music in the end. thanks for mentioning my gallery. i look forward to the next one.

I like the 2nd one more, because I don't have to turn my speakers up to hear you. However your voice fits the Podcast really well.

👍 Yay for the shorter podcast... not so keen on the twice weekly idea, though  ..."absence makes the heart grow fonder", "less is more", "insert random cliche here" and all that... ;) Don't get me wrong, I do like them, and I personally would like to see more people podcasting (within the AUP of course! ;) ), but focused and concise is definitely the order of the day (in my opinion atleast), especially if more people intend to contribute this sort of thing... The podcast medium can be a powerful tool, but anything with spoken word content pretty much demands your full attention, hence it really needs to be keep brief, to the point and above all, interesting. Just bear in mind how long the average person wants to spend reading a post - even an epic post will still only take a few minutes to read...

By the way, the end of episode 2 is a bit screwed up, sounds like you over-dubbed the last section over the end of the previous section by mistake, but I like the addition of a bit of music, since plain vocals for 15 minutes is about as much as you can expect anybody to listen to in one go.

"So I'll try and speak LOUDER"
Hahahaaa!

That and the 'big like hell' thing cracked me up. Loved your review of the Vectra too, "similar names, same crap"...brilliant! Thanks for the review of the RSC update, but it is a hideous car. :P

EDIT: "Have you seen the rims? They're big like ass!" LMAO! :D

This one is even better than the first. the vectra review was proper funny
I can't wait for the the others! 👍
Im glad the podcasts are shorter aswell.
Thanks for believing in me about the apology.+rep

p.s great choon at the end of the podcast!
