Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

I like it, always loved that car.

Like the tones you used, kind of ethereal without the diffuse glow.

The blending thing, with the car and the BG, that makes it look a bit "off", may be due to that part on the laft rear of the car that's very bright - bad lasso usage (not coming from you, I don't think) or just too bright imo, that gets attention it shouldn't get, and stands out too much, making it look almost fake.

The wheels look like rolling on the tarmac, and the rest of the car looks like it belongs there too, so for me it's just that bit that may lead some to say it's not well blended to the BG.

I dunno. I really liked the cleanup on the car, it's just that it feels a little misplaced. If it was a little closer, the picture would've drawn interest more towards it - the way it currently is, the bright spot and the car work as 'separate' entities. If it was closer, but the same colors and lightning, it would've worked out perfect.

Brutal shot!! The car, the track, the blur, the colors, its gorgeous. The Supra is looking very stylish.
Great update!!!!

I like the shot until it gets to the road. The extreme brightness kind of kills it. Everything other than that, A+ imo 👍!!

I love it, it's a minimal yet effective piece of art. The Supra looks great in that situation too, the back end especially looks very realistic.

Also, the little details such as that streak of red in the blur really add something to it.

It is a very good replica of 440's style but you still manage to keep it in realistic range. I think the background and the car is very well blended and the darkest of the car is really spot on (on my screen). I have no complaint on this one 👍

Thanks guys 👍

I was actually aiming for this kind of angle, you know, like 440 CHARGER and Krame do alot; place the car in the corner, rotate the camera and add a strong blur to it. I got this idea when I saw Charger's Lexus at Motegi and decided I could try this as well so that the Supra does not show all of its hidious textures plus it would be easier to clean it up 👍

Toyota Supra @ InfineIon Raceway
February 20th, 2007

My first time ever I took a shot at Infineon, I can't believe I didn't do it before. Infineon has some great basic colours, this is the same black Supra of the previous update but the colours of Infineon turned it into a blue-green Supra. I did what I could on the cleanup, but it's far from perfect. I need more practice on cleaning up the door lines as the biggest door line at the back still looks blocky but the lines on the front bumper and the hood came out really nice 👍 The wheel blur on the front wheel also came out wrong, but I figured already out how I can do it better 👍 I couldn't use the cut/paste method because the camera was too near to take a clear shot of the front wheel. I also added the well-known little lens flares on the fornt bumper, I don't know how Charger and jacoja did it but I did it with the dodge tool. I hope you like this update besides all the errors I talked about now, let me know what you think 👍

Brilliant shot mate...I must start doing less quantity and better quality.....But really nice clean shot.

nice set of updates lately bram! nice and crisp. i dont know why, but i somehow like the first one better, but the 2nd one's looking good too. and it's not at new york for once hehehehe  hope to see more from you soon.

I think this is really nice, it almost looks as if the car has one of those flip-flop paint jobs or like a pearl paint job. I especially like all the little lens flares or whatever they're called, adds a nice little touch to the car.

Excellent shot!!! The only thing that kind of bothers me is the rear of the car. It just doesnt look as refined as the rest of the car. Easily one of your best shots!!

Thanks guys 👍

I couldn't decide how I would clean up the reflections because there were so many of them so it got a little

ultra! Remember to enlarge the canvas to 1400x1200 or larger before adding blur
after you finish editing, you can just shrink it back to 1280x960. Look at the right bottom of the photo, you can notice that not-so-uniform blur pattern. This is what you get for not enlarge the canvas before adding blur.

Anyhow the supra is super clean and almost like vector work. Little sun reflections make it even better (it is becoming a standard for highly edited photos  ) In fact you really did a good job. 👍 👍 However what is going on with the half wire fence, did you take them out for some reason?

Yes, that blur problem can easly fixed changing canvas size or resolution. I usually use smudge and blur tool when I forget it hehe.

Amazing Supra! You're improving very fast. I love the bright lines and spots, and the overal look is fantastic. 👍

Nice Ultra, very nice! your Skillz are getting better and better.
Oh yeah that line under your Name is so true...
keep it up Mate 👍

Holy ****! When I saw that in your avatar I thought it was an actual photo!

What can I say? I love the colours, the car, the background, the cleanup. Everything. The way you've cleaned it up seems different from your usual style and it makes the car look very very realistic aswell as being clean.

I also like the way the background has noise added to it. I noticed that the car has had noise added to it too but I don't think it works as well as it does on the background.

Brilliant, brilliant work.

Thanks alot guys 👍

Moglet, you really should give the noise filter a try over the whole images you make. Not many in here use it but noise is actually the filter which make pictures look so realistic. Especially the reflection, it seems to add an extra glow to the outer lines of the reflections 👍

Thanks for all the feedback! ;)

Noise is a real thing I must admit, but less people who take car photos for a living cut out noise completely, since they use DSLR's, which is rare to find noise in. Also Moglet must remember when an image is resized for an avatar it makes a shot more real.

Really well done man! 👍 I like the reflections on the car a lot. The pavement could've used a little more contrast but apart from that: top shot.

Dodge Viper GTSR Concept @ Trial Mountain
February 22th, 2007

My apologies if some feel I'm updating too much, please say so but after I was done with this Viper, I really wanted to have it in my gallery. Originally, this shot was and still is for the Photoshop 2.0 Competition Week 60 but it turned out so nice I decided to post it here as well. I tried not to put the saturation so high like the last Viper at NY were it turned pink. I hope you like this update as much as I do. I hope franz finally is statisfied with the tarmac  What I did not get clean were the headlights, foglights and the lines around the front window but apart from these three, I like this one very much. Please post what you think about this shot 👍 Now I'll need to focus on the Tournaments, I really want to get as high up there and place my name as possible 👍 Too bad Moglet's already out of there :D
