Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

My latest competition entries. The S2000, Supra and Solstice weren't very popular in those competitions, even though I spent a bunch of time in them an explored new techniques. The Delta was my entry for PMR week 171, but it comes with a touch of 2.0. I think the Delta is amongst my best works as I'm really happy with it.

Lovely pictures, and awesome presentation - love the way you've used the Delta as both a button and a background. Great work :)👍

Great 👍
I was really impressed that the woondone supra didn’t have many (if any) votes. It was really a great picture 👍
I really like the Lancia, and I agree, it is within one of your best works, great light and composition, combined with a well rendered and clean car.

Well guys, I'll be inactive for a while. Today my GT4 disc decided to fail on me so I'll have to wait with any Photomode related untill I can get a hold of a new disc. I'll still be online everyday, but I won't be entering any competitions currently :(

that's bad news :(
have you tried to polish the disc with a thingy to clean your glasses
how do you call that in english, it is a: ''brillendoekje'' in dutch
the translator said:''brill pad''

I've tried many things, but to no avail. En een brillendoekje werkt ook niet, neen ;)

Darn, hope you get a new disc soon. Oh, and congrats on your 1000th reply!

I was 1001.

EDIT: And dennisw, I think the translation went wrong, a brillo pad, as we call it, would likely scratch the disc... a lot. You're thinking of a soft cloth.

EDIT AGAIN: Or did you actually mean this:

i also had this for a while, you have the ps2 intro screen, and then you get on a black screen ''playstation2'' in white, does it show ''playstation2''??

and mine was making wierd noses, somehing like, tick tick tick, but not loud.

does that happen to you??

That's bad to hear Bram, I need you to keep pushing me further and further!
Have you tried the toothpaste trick?

5 Simple steps to fix scratched PS2 games

* Put a little warm water on the disc.
* apply a little baking soda toothpaste to your clean, soft cloth
* rub (as directed) over the scratched area and around it. If you have a lot of scratches then you should do the whole disc. 10-15 swipes from inside to out should do the trick. Wipe across the disc, not in circles.
* rinse the toothpaste off
* allow the disc to air dry

Can I fix those scratches with simple toothpaste? I might try it, although I don't get step 4. Why add toothpaste if you're removing it afterwards? :P Anyway, I might try it, thanks Lloyd! 👍 It's the red loading symbol that keeps popping up...

The idea is that the toothpaste will smooth down the edges of the scratches slightly so the surface is smoother, therefore more likely to be readable.

Well, tried the toothpaste thing twice. It cannot even read it now so I guess that trick was its final nail to the coffin... Oh well, the easiest solution is to just buy a new disc I guess :)

1 does the ps2 make strange silent sounds??

2 do you have a big or a small ps2, if you have a small one, does the disc turn a little afterwoth if you open the cover??
if not you have the same problen i have sometimes

great collection you have here, sorry to hear about your disc. atleast you have a console that works. mine has to be shipped out to the US (my ps3) to get fixed.

When I saw this entry by Swiss Legend in the uneditted competition week 57 thread (link.) I really wanted to have a go with such an awesome stock shot. I editted before I asked permission from Swiss, but in the end he said it was okay. I thought I'd share this with you guys. Nothing fancy, spent maybe 45-60 minutes on this so it's just something basic. Since I have no PS2 here and GT4 is broken, I will happily take anything leftovers from you guys that you don't need. Make sure they are stock though :P

It’s cool, it’s real and it looks a tad Tangled Webish. :P
Great editing 👍

I have some spare image, if would like some or would like me to take some for you, just call 👍

If you've got any you're not using, I'd be more than happy to work with them 👍

Thanks for the comments guys. I guess I went overboard with lightning, but I still have to improve giving the whole car more depth with lightning 👍

Nice editing, it looks real.

I have a few shotsI don't plan on posting,so if you want to mess around with them let me know.

oooo... Awesome job with the touch ups. It has a realistic look to it.

And like yourself, i am also damned with the same fate (No ps2 broken gt4), Maybe i should do wut ur doing. only if there was someone willing to get their pictures butchered:crazy:
