Bram Turismo's Gallery - Tournament Round 1 before/after -

The original was so nicely balanced... I don't know too much people that really have control of DRi and HDRi process to enhance the image, so I'd preffer to stay with the tradicional thing by now. Like real life is.

The HDR has sooo much more attitude to it. The sky looks absolutely amazing. Just wish it was a bit less noisy. good job bro:tup:

That's why I love images, the feature is never used to be more realistic, but to add more vibrant colours and, as you mentioned, attitude to an image. That's why I love it, there's so much chaos in the image, and there are so much vibrant colours in HDR images 👍

you've totally ruined it. it seems that some of the reflections are a bit out of perspective. the back is too dark, and the front is almost too bright to match the rest of the car. if the skies were that dark, and you're using a 1/100th shutter speed for example,
shouldn't the skies somehow reflect on the front windows too ? i could be wrong, but it's just what i see. one thing i do like about it is the dirty looks on the doorline and near the airvent of the car. makes it look dirty. just wish the skies were a little bit less noisy and a bit brighter. to be honest, you should have just kept the original, or blurred the sky a little bit to kill the noise levels, or did a black and white conversion. then maybe the hdr could of worked out better.

That looks awesome man! The HDR effects look great, especially on the road. The car looks a little more blurred that in the first shot (which I loved!), but the overall effect is superb! 👍

Great stuff, keep 'em coming! :dopey:

DUde.... STUNNING hdr effect, I look like the packaging art of a game, but to me the lighting still makes it look realistic somewhat. And noise make it look better IMO. AWESOME update to an update.

I love your RX-7 at motegi, very clean.👍

I think the shot of the Clio is too busy. Either the sky or the road should be simplified. The reflection on the rear window needs to go aswell. Otherwise I like the angle of the shot, radical but not too exaggerated:tup:

The Chaparall was my original entry for the first round of the Tournament, but got replaced by the 905. The Supra was something for the H2H comp, but I couldn't enter it, hence why it got into this collection. The Elise is a slightly modified version of the Elise that I entered the H2H comp with. The Clio is something you've all seen before, and the 905 is being butt-kicked by Tangled Web. In the background there is the Nissan Cube that is a good while old now.

This update is perfect.. The 2J shot is awesome.. The car looks like a plane  The blur on this one fits to the car perfectly.. The MK3 is awesome.. The saturation, the lighting and the reflections make the whole shot better than it actually is.. The scenery is also well done.. Then to the Elise.. There's not much to say, just that it's a really really well done shot from you, Bram Turismo 👍.. I've already seen this Clio and this shot is aweome! Last but not least the 905.. The car itself is very sharp and clean, while the background (especially the road) is blurred, which gives the whole thing even more speed and action.. All in all, this is a perfect update, including extraordinary cars.. Extreme high quality overall.. Keep up the good work! :)

Lets start with the panel display, gorgeous!!!!!!
The Supra, thank god you can´t enter this week, a very strong picture indeed. Great quality on the car btw, very clean and shiny.
I like both of your Tournament shots, but I think the Chaparral suits the theme better, the blur in there is quite extreme!!
The Elise and Clio...no words needed, just looking and enjoying!!

Nuno:)

You work is stunning, probably the best on this site for me personally...

In the Supra shot, what is that effect that you used on the buildings called to make it softer?

Also you seem to make every surface perfect, whether it be textured or smooth, insane... love your work

Extremely awesome Bram, love the panel aswell. How do you get it all to line up like that?

I use the slice tool to seperate all parts in order to be able to link to every image. Afterwards I just make a very long sentence with all the url and img codes in it, no spaces between anything and they should line up 👍

In the Supra shot, what is that effect that you used on the buildings called to make it softer?

I selected an area around the car, feathered it by quite much, and copied the background and everything which was not selected on its own layer. In that shot I applied a gaussian blur and a diffuse glow filter. Afterwards I use the eraser tool to smoothen out the blur that is too much near the center 👍

Thanks for all the comments guys 👍

Great!!! I like your panel, very reflective and shiny.
The 2J picture is awesome, great sense on it, I even prefer it to your actual entry (that is also very good).
The mk2 is very shiny and I like the reflection of the houses on it. The Elise, I prefer the other version of it, it had more punch to it, and we all know the Clio :D
Overall, great, great, GREAT!!! 👍

I tried to focus more on natural lighting and angles this time. I kept it simple without any cleaning other than the smudge tool for fixing some errors :)

Wow Bram, these are gorgeous photos! They go to show that you really do have a good eye for photos and lighting, aswell as being very talented with your editing.

The middle photo is breathtaking, it's such an awesome sight to see that massive panoramic blur with a perfectly focused car in the middle 👍

Thanks guys! 👍

My main objective with these ones were to get a better grip of the levels as I easily lose control of exposure levels. Also, I want to get better at manual dodging to give the cars themselves more depth so they don't appear like flat objects 👍

Hey Bram Turismo what year is the Honda because I have got to do a tune for gt3_racer05 for a Honda Integra Type R that looks like this. The one I'm doing is a 95'.And also they look good but there is something to them on the Back bumper on the shots on the bottom and the shots that you can see the windscreen wipers kinda look jaggiy.
