tried it yesterday and I am definitely not ready yet for these kind of challenges

Don't worry Doblo, as of next season I intend to make the 'hardcore' events as part of the Sprint Cup in order to keep competition fierce but accessible for everyone who enters since I know an event like this can be offputting since its so frustraiting.

It's a fun combo and the track and setting are beautiful. It's just me who is lacking control and experience. It didn't put me off but it requires a skill that I currently don't have. I ended up to much drifting which was great fun with this car as well.

I'm using a controller, but my left analogue stick is ruined. As in the rubber on the stick is ripped lol, it tends to get annoying sometimes but it wasn't as bad as my other controller.

Well guys, what can I say? We find ourselves at the end of Season 1. Honestly...this has been an incredible success with an average participants list that far exceeded what I was expecting. Thank you, for helping me set this up and competing.

Tomorrow, the final results and awards will be handed out. Fantastic effort from all involved. Please return for Season 2 and bring friends!

The expired event disappeared from my challenge list and thus I can't actually tote the points from the final event. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I've learned a lesson here. If anyone has the results somehow I would update the leaderboard but I'm afraid S1 ends on a bad note.

Also, me and @torque99 will be partnering up for Season 2 to provide a beginner friendly photo-mode based sprint series that people can purticipate in alongside the more serious events. This decision was made on the basis of Torque having a hearty band of competitors and me also...hopefully we can get more people participating than ever!

Look in your expired challenges section, I'm not certain if your own will be there, but I think it should be - challenges participated in certain are.

I have set up a GTP DRIVECLUB community on PSN...I have invited the challengers/Friends on here I have linked but anyone on here Brends challengers feel free to join in (not sure how it works on there if I am honest) Looks like you just have to click to join/send invite.

Search GTP Driveclub community and it should come up (under the main PS4 Disc/DC menu before you click to start the game). If you have trouble joining let me know as I am not sure what settings are on it.

Went straight to the top and sent a cheeky invite to Rushy & Jamie Bradshaw to join in and see what is going on if they wanted to.

Recently I've not been finding the time to play Driveclub(congested game schedule to blame) so I've had to postpone when the start date of season 2 was.

I will be sure to discuss with Torque about a new start date but rest assured I have every intention to do a Season 2 if people are still interested.

If any one else (new) wants to have a fun challenge on some sprint challenges (all welcome beginners and Pro's) just add me as friend on PSN with a note GTP sprint and will send to all the challenge and run for 1 week. When Brend has time I will discuss more options etc ..for a season of them etc

Ok I set up a Fun Sprint Challenge to run for 1 week on Wester Ross(rev) with the little Alfa 4c in the Dry, It is all in the breaking points and drifting on each corner, I had a little practice and I was just as fast with the foot brake or the Handbrake. Hit that right and you can shave another few hundredths off easy. I got to very early 0.40s and hit no1 spot but only about 8 on there. I reckon a 0.37-0.38 is achievable by the end of the week. I sent to 22 of you guys on here. If you want a go just ask for it to be forwarded on here or add me/msg me PSN.👍👍👍

Yep I saw one up close and inside at the Frankfurt motor show before release it is a nice motor Nato, I tell you what does look nice is the new 488GTB in the flesh, I have a Ferrari/Maserati franchise near me and have seen them all blast past on test drives, the 488 was in the petrol garage and in a very bright colour, It is a wide low beast and the noise as it drove off.👍
