UPDATE: Wow. The Nurb is surely not easy eh especially with time trials. Whewwww!!! So long too.
Managed to get Bronze so far with a time of 8:53.612
Second try was going good leaping ahead of the ghost car saying to myself "Ah Haaa!...Got it now".... almost towards the end...but then anxiety got the better of me, slipped off the track and lap got nullified. Dayummm.
Went for another crack at it...again racing ahead doing better time...and would you know it....Off the track again and nullify lap.
Will go for it again but have to cool out for now after all that blood pressure raising. Tomorrow looks like it. Good tune though. Cheers.

Best advice I can give you is to bring the pace back just a little. If you attack the Nordschleife, remember it has teeth & will bite back. Get a good flow & rythum going with just enough in reserve to know you'll make it out the other side of the corners and the time will come easier than you thought possible. Good luck.

WOW!! That's Awesome!! What a Great Lap Time, it will give me something to shoot for.

I just had it in the garage with a tune on it, (how old I don't know) and that was my first lap time, then I tweaked it a little and got 8:18, but I knew there was faster lap times, just by the way it handled and you proved that. 👍 Thanks for trying my tune.

I totally agree with that, it's so true and I've been racing on it since GT3 or 4, back then I hated it, it was too long, too many corners, you had to watch your speed, but later on in GT4 then going into GT5 I got to know the track and started to liked it.

The right car and tune on it becomes one helluva of a drive, just try the Samba Bus tune on it.

I can honestly say I've never not loved the Nordschleife. Ever since I watched the lap by Derek Bell on In Car 956, I was smitten with the place.
Learning it in GT4 was something I was obsessed with & the way the game broke it down into four sections helped that. I'd wash'n'repeat it until I got the gold and then continue until I was sure there was nothing left. Each sector taught what to & what not to around the whole lap, learning braking markers, sight lines, turn-in points, the lot.
Now I do the 24 minute endurance race in anything premium with the driving line off just for fun. The 'overnight' lap in the rain is as good as GT gets in my book.

Hi Brewguy44, I like the colour you chose for the McLaren. Picturing it with the desert as the backdrop provides a great contrast.

Thought I'd drop by your garage to check out the home of the Furai tune that you posted for the Nurb TT. Hopefully I can give it a run in the next few days as I've never driven it at the track. Garage looks great with a nice selection of cars. Also be interested in trying your tune for the Gallardo. I like this car but it seems to understeer a little (if not badly) in my hands. All the best.

Maybe, I don't know, there's a NFS game out and I really like The F & F Movies a lot more, but I'd have to watch the movie again to see if I want to do some of the cars in it.

Could you double-check to make sure the calculations are correct please.

Just a note. (For the 400pp) Was still not getting figures to adjust beginning with changing the Final Gear to 4.500.
After a couple retries how I finally got the gears adjustment figures was at first (after Transmission Rest) was to set the Final Gear to 4.000. Then proceeding with Max Speed adjustment to 112mph... then gears 1 to 5 adjustments... then Final Gear to 2.650.

Perhaps you may want to further edit the tune posting to reflect... begin with Final Gear at 4.000

UPDATE:
Just did the 400PP race and the car and tune with proper resettings as I indicated above turned out pretty nice. Pretty decent Gold. Cheers.

Still a little bit to gain (can get around 8'08"...imo),but i need to take more risks then i want.
So i probably will crash or run wide somewhere.
Still don't know how people can be more then a minute faster then i'm :eek:

I just checked my tune and F.G. 4.500, M.S. 112, 1-5 Gears set then F.G. 2.650. It checks out at 400PP, I copied it to B settings slot and I start tuning from the Body and went up to the Suspension. The gears are set more to the right hand side too!

Interesting Vehicle, it handles real well and goes pretty fast too!!! I was able to pull away and get more than a 5 sec lead on them in my 1st race using it. I was surprised :eek: to say the least on how well it drove.
