Hey @Bivittavus88 sorry mate another busy week so far, only been on for a couple of Dailies the other day. I think you're now running as I write, so bugger, I missed it!

If there's another practice next week, I should be around. I need to get my livery sorted too! :D

Good luck fellas! ;)

Edit: Fellas, being a dumb Hamster, but is it the Gr3 or Gr4 Ferrari we'll be running for the race? Cheers!

There will be a few next week. I'm 1.5s off the pace, so need to practice. It's the Gr.4.

Warning. Understeer on corner exit is horrible.

Just remember, it's at 132% power, and 82% weight. Lovely to drive. Apart from the corner exit understeer

I'll likely be running practice sessions most nights from Sunday onwards, as I need to find at least a second to get closer to Max, and Co.
Caught the very back end of last night's lobby (enough to spectate the final lap). Good going all, fast times as far as I could tell. I'll need to get some decent practice in before next week though to even be respectable. IIRC, GR3 times are around 1:19, right, and you guys were running race pace of 1:22 - 1:24 ish?

I think I'll need to sneak in with the group 3 car so I can try to be competitive

Aye, it's a bloody quick car. @Drex124 hates the combo, though. It sounds nice and easy. Souped up Gr.4 at Spa? Easy. It's way more tricky than it sounds. Really grippy, though. Spinning is difficult. Running wide on corner exit is easy.

*mental note to lock car class goes here*

I’ll try and make next weeks event
:)
I’m completely new to the art of livery making.

You're perfectly welcome, mate. Livery doesn't have to be anything special. Single colour, a couple Bridgestone decals, and a number that isn't already taken is all you really need.

I think it will be a race of consistency, slip stream doesn’t seem to improve laptime too much however the dirty air is difficult.
The curbs really unsettle the car aswell and the track limit penalties are easy to pick up if your only slightly off line. Should be a good race of pace but also patience as mistakes or rash decisions will be punished hard.
Really looking forward to this one, top 3 will be a really well earned drive 👍.

I was going to participate, but real life got in the way. I think I have 3 liveries for this event, you are welcome to use any of them you like.

Edit 2: I forgot this one, also made for the event... I had trouble deciding :)

I hope to be around from next Tuesday for a practice or two....

Pretty good assessment, overall. My practice sessions this week are going to be long runs, focusing on consistency, rather than outright pace. Last night showed me that my race pace isn't terrible, so as long as I'm consistent, I should make the top 5.

In addition, perfectly happy for you to use Grandpa's number for this race. Saves him having to edit the livery to suit.

I love that decal! I'll see you on track, through the week.

Still not 100% man. Sorry :guilty:. Not even sure if I'll make DRWF tomorrow :indiff:.

Throw out all of your recalled Corona beer. Seriously, I hope you get to feeling better soon.

If you find a second, Max will find 2. He's an alien. We're just going to have to live with it.

Give it a try. Throw everything at the wall & see what sticks. None of us learned by watching YT videos. You gotta make some ugly ones before you learn to make works of art.

Oh yeah Hammy! I'm digging the fade job man. Looks great! 👍

Thanks mate, and yeah it looks ok.......I was going to go with a red bum, but the decals stand out better on black of course. I might change one or two things, depends if I'm bored or not, and play around in livery mode! :dopey:

My nephew has decided to have a birthday party next Friday. It’s his 21st, so I need to be there.

Unfortunately, I’m not gonna be able to make the Ferrari race. Sorry to drop out.

Bit off topic but I had a great idea which I don’t want to forget.

If we end the season as we’ve started and we still have a full grid, we could make next season a team effort and we pair the top driver with the bottom driver all the way to the middle. We race as teams with both cars scoring points. Would make for a good twist and the standings in theory would be very close.
