Ok, I'll bite.
Why would PD approve your request for the track to be in the game? There are countless tracks in the real world, that actually exist, and probably a good 10-20+ that PD has at least considered already or at least thought of in some capacity. What makes you think they'd jump at a track that doesn't exist for no reason just because you mentioned it to them?
Wrong, that's not how it works at all. If it were that simple we'd have 200 real world tracks. Each track has to be scanned and then modelled which takes over a year. Even if they were to use their own creativity to model the look of the track like an original track, that still takes an equal amount of time to model.
You are being very unrealistic. PD already have a backlog of tracks to add to the game and you want them to add a track that doesn't exist just because you want it in the game. Join the line with others hoping their favourite tracks get added into the game. I don't know why you think this track that again, does not even exist, should get special treatment.
First of all, the reason I wanted this in the game is because it was just an idea that I came up with, having the raw designs in my hands I thought, hell… why not try… At least I´ll be able to pat myself on my back when I´ve followed through with it Sure the tracks have to be scanned and it takes a lot of time. I´m not saying it could be done in a day. I just wanted to write a post so that people would see my idea of it all. I am quite aware of how complicated this would be. Unrealistic or not, as said earlier, I´m going to give it a try. I started with the opinions on this Forum just to see how far this could go.. I´ll upload some pictures today. Check them out. It looks bloody amazing.
At least allow me to go after my dreams buddy It almost feels like if I get the right amount of people with me on this, and then when I got the attention of PD I will actually have a shot at this! You might not think it´s special. But I do. As mentioned in the original post - it was close to becoming real when politics messed it up. If these guys, my friends, followed through and actually built it, it would probably have been the most fantastic track in Northern Europe region. Scandinavia has never had any tracks like this before. You are a dreamer. Why would your track deserve any more treatment than a regular wishlist post? A track that was never made is not that special. We all have dreams, I also have some local tracks that I would love to see in GT6/7.
Thanks, I posted a pic on his Twitter along with a tweet to Andrew House.. I´ll be posting some pictures soon..Wish you luck. Sadly, i don't have any Kaz contact information.
You could try get in touch with him by twitter: twitter.com/Kaz_Yamauchi
Let's just hope that this track is something that really worth to drive on. Because pretty much every Tilke's design are crap.
No, sorry. It isn´t made.. You guys think it´s Rudskogen when it´s not.. I´ll be posting up pictures in a bitThe track was made. The OP's post is poorly worded. There is onboard video in post #8 of this thread. Doesn't look like anything special to me.
Ah with the way it was worded in the first post it sounded like it was going to be ground up built.
The way I understand it, he's not talking about the recently renovated Rudskogen, but the older never-developed plans for Rudskogen, which was both longer and meant to attract F1 testing.
Is this your track, op?
It's not Rudskogen as I've now managed to reply to some of the posts.. Here it is.. I'll be posting more pictures just so that you guys get the idea of what I'm talking about.
