It shouldn't!

I've pretty much had my ps3 on for a month completing B-spec and now remote racing. I only turn it off for a few minutes as this seems to help with gran-turismo.com updating my friends list etc.

Stand the PS3 up to help with cooling and all will be fine.

It's because of all the scary stories I've read..

:scared: << scary smilie !

If my calculations are correct, I should reach level 40 tomorrow morning, after lot's of B-Spec remote racing today, and the 9h Tsukuba race tonigh before I go to sleep... On Saturday morning, I'll then launch the final 24h race in order to get my level 24 ticket, finally ! If my PS3 doesen't YLOD during this week-end, it will never die :)

To those B-spec pros I need some tips:

I've been grinding remote races for a good 2 weeks now....I never touched B-Spec offline. I want to try and get a career bar filled and also collect all the prize cars B-Spec has to offer (I'm assuming as long as i finish 3rd or better to get them?). What's the fastest/ route achieve this without very little intervention from me? Brand new driver (easier to keep track of win history) and ridiculously fast cars? I'm not concerned about B-Spec leveling up because from remote racing I'm already at like 36-37

I've got Bob as far as the Extreme Series. Working through them at the mo.

I put Bob in the fastest car accepted in the event,

I had to baby sit Bob on the Historic Cup Series but apart from that he has being doing his own thing on the track and winning.

Those stories are people who left their ps3's on constantly without taking breaks to cool the system down...stupid move with an electronic device. lol.
And blaming GT5 for their stupidity XD

Did you collect these from A-Spec already? If your drivers are that high level already, they should be fine with the cars you used yourself in A-spec. Not sure how to quickly fill the experience bar. Can you go into races and quit them early to make it fill quicker?

My Bob's level 34. I'm waiting until I get a flashdrive and some money incase my PS3 goes up. I'm remote racing like crazy but not really getting anywhere too.

One way you could make some extra money is have your friends help you by racing your bobs, while you pull down one of your bobs and keep running him through the Dream Car championship with the Redbull X2010, netting yourself like 800k every hour in addition to the money you make from remote racing. Keep entering races and you will be leveling yourself up as well as adding to your main Bob's experience bar.

lvl 39 - 40 is over 7 mil cr. so good luck to anyone trying to cross that with only remote racing. Better to

1) Run Ring 4h overnight
2) oil and gear setup change in the morning and run Tsukuba 9h while you're at work

Money's not great but you get lots of xp and still there's time when you get home from a hard day's grafting to actually play the game

Worked for me anyhoo.

PS I used GTR Stealth for the most part but I imagine the premium calsonic or such would be just as handy.

I went from level 36 to 40 in less then 2 weeks. So remote racing FTW!

Just 2 more hours of the 24h Nurburgring. Almost! There! FINALLY!!!!
