Despite a slightly messy start, the long race turned out interesting! I was dead last when I pitted on lap 11 and put in 28 litres. Considering how far behind everyone I was after the pit stop I thought something had screwed up in the pit stop (sometimes in GT5 pit stops seems to take different amounts of time..) or that everyone else had basically fueled a lot less than me... it proved to be the latter. I was surprised to see so many running out of fuel (I know the feeling, Monza cough cough). The new concept is interesting, gonna be fun to see what happens in the next races.

I knew there was a reason why when I pitted from 1st I came out in last place!
I took more fuel than I thought needed but sure enough, I needed all of it.
The game suggested no fuel but thats happened before and I ran out (s4 maybe??) so I feel your pain :(

How much did you take? I knew I needed fuel but totally forgot about the fast wear and only took 10L.

Apart from the mess up with fuel I had great fun tonight and its good to see some new drivers here. 👍

Sorry guys for tonight leaving you all in the lurch its not the sort of thing I've done before nor like doing, glad to see the show still went on and you all had some good racing apart from fuel.

See you all next week 👍

Oh someone will need to pass over the race results :)

37litres.... sat there for ages while I watched everyone drive on.... thought Id made a big mistake lol

Racing was fun. Except fron my awful antics in lap 1 of the first race :( lol to those who I hit my bad. Least I went to the back of the pack and felt very sorry for my actions!

:( yeahh I didnt mean too. My brake pedal was actually sticking and distracting me a fair bit... ask toffe im sure he saw my brake lights flicker a lot :( but no excuse just a mistake 👍

I feel like I keep jumping the starts... So how is it exactly? I thought once leader goes past start/finish line, everyone may accelerate...

Oh and as a matter of fact, my TV blacked out for a few seconds in race 1, but it was in the tight chicane so I just paused and didn't lose the pack. :D

Yeah that's the deal I think some are still adjusting to it Carb:crazy:

Nel what you asked its done.:scared:

I am going to run a fuel/tyre run for Indy

I will also and let everyone know put tonight down to experience fellas. Take the fuel thing out and the formats bloody good!!

Quick message to the field there was the odd mistake tonight some worse than others. In the past we have given a little leeway taking into account the fact we are all a tad rusty etc. Throw into the mix the amount of changes to our setup this season I think we all did pretty well all things considered (I think someone already mentioned the new guys).👍
Remember please the use of the horn to signal a strop is strictly forbidden in BST its not necessary. We have procedures in place post race for you all to follow if you have any problems you want looking at, just a reminder.:)

Did you DC race 2? :(

No I decided to retire from the race because everyone was lagging all over the place so I gathered there was something wrong with my internet connection, and thought all you guys may have been experiencing me having wild movements on the track so thought it would be safer to retire from the race! It was unfortunate, but thought it was the right thing to do at the time :)

Also thank you to Rob, my teammate and John for the positive comments on race 1 :D

Everyone was spot on Sam you included its something me and Gedi always panic over a bit (introducing new guys). But tonight was a pleasure.:)

Lesson for next week guys "Test your cars"

I'll get on it asap and post results so everyone knows. If others could do the same that would be great I don't know if we all burn fuel at different rates.

Lap count was spot on for the amount of wear just a shame about the juice bit.:guilty: Oh and GT5 lies!!!!

Nah Oramas the dirtiest racer in TOCA, always crashes into people as often as possible :mischievous: ;)

(Nah he's fine 👍)
