meh big diff is the tyres imo Race Hards react to kerbs aotmore negatively to kerbs than softs which just seem to grip all the time meaning theres more gain to be had on softs to hards also hards being much slower anyway im not too bothered

Noticed Gedi decided to avoid the license test thing must be because im right... and Aussie V8s Supercars also have the same thing with kerbs ive never seen V8s Pinged for putting all four over and onto the kerbs... like at Abu Dhabi and many other tracks they raced

Take out the licence test then your rules make sence! its confusing when there are 2 things for the same thing but they have different rules one saying only "2 wheels on kerbs" another saying your allowed all 4 "on the kerbs" but the only thing that is clear as with all series is all 4 "over the kerb" is not allowed if you delete the "anything allowed on a license test is allowed here" and only keep the 2 wheels on track at all times its clear! is all i ask but jesus you make it look so hard...

Edit: also this only came to this because he accused me of trying to change the rules to suit myself which was not the case, i was just trying to "HELP" but he took it the wrong way!, in effect he was saying i need to cheat to win which is total Bull:censored:

Paul if your 19 then act it, your not 9 years old, don't go off and take a fit just because things aren't going exactly how you want, it's the championship rules and they do not change unless permitted by who runs the series, if you don't like it then you know where the door is and you should do as asked by the people who let you race here in the first place

Denilson (chorda) and Wardez testing at monza for Pure basically the same as WSGTC but only gt500 and invitation only.... watch that and tell me if they, 2 very good fast clean drivers (who i cant keep up with to save my life) are driving dirty by your standards

to cut a long story short. It was nothing until i got accused of trying to change the rules to suit me by gedi, when i was just trying to offer what i thought was a helpful way of showing track boundaries stupidly thinking that would apply to all races at monza, like i did for daytona with no issues. So i took offence to that and said why do you say 2 different things for the rules on track boundaries one which is the same as what WSGTC does (licence test which allows 4 wheels on kerb at monza meaning gt5 counts kerb as track) other stating 2 wheels must stay on track at all times (2 kerb 2 tarmac) ..... i also did ask to delete the licence test bit in OP and just keep the 2 wheels statement since that what Gedi is going for...
Now here we are, my question still unanswered

As you can see, I try to keep two wheels on track at all times. The outside strips on the exits of the corners allow you to run wide, but if you end up too wide you are in the gravel, so you do noy lose much time.

For me these represent the absolute limit of cornering.
 
Furi some of those are wider than the WSGTC ones i showed (some of them your of the red/white kerbing and so your outside wheels are on the red/white kerb which is what gedi went mental about....) so happily your rules are roughly on the same limit as WSGTC (i think gedi is even stricter than WSGTC somehow)

On corner exit you do not gain time by running too wide. Also those kerbs are textured as well which show wheel marks.

In TOCA Season 2, we had a lot people (gedi and jb included) that we would have tons of penalties and arguments, and there ended up being none...
 
i know but he said that running that wide wasnt allowed which is why i was confused, maybe you understand me more now? also yeah the wheel marks show cars use it, that was something i tryed to point out in the aussie v8s clip i showed some exits beyond the kerbs were blackeneded by tyres (im with you thats all clean to me but we will see what gedi says..)
 
its my biggest fault when i get confused i start going mad when i dont get an answer ie getting left in the dark. Im sure its a scottish thing i think BTCC actualy does run a similar thing 4 wheels beyond the kerb isnt on but 4 wheels on the kerb is ok, ill go check some BTCC footage as im not sure i know BTCC is quite relaxed with that sorta stuff except running crazy wide at silverstones turn 1 :lol:

I like the 2 wheels on Track (Curb/Kerb not Track) rule 👍
But the Sentence: "All things that can be done during License-Tests are allowed"
Should be erased.
=> no confusions about the Rule

@PM the Vid is awsome I would totally accept that, but for the V8-Series ruling: Some cuttings but that is because of the closeness.

Hey guys ....I think everyone needs to take a deep breath, put the kettle on & chill. If you read Paul's original post its clear he was trying to be helpful. Things got a bit out of hand after that on all sides.

We're really talking about different interpretations of the same basic rule. Ultimately, though it is down to jb & Gedi as its their series.

At the end of the day it is just a game ... & fun.

More strict!!, err no couldnt be further from the truth the reason the rules have been misinterpretated is because when me and gedi set out to do this thing our aim was to go down the fun relaxed evening with a competitive racing edge strict rules were never supposed to come into it really the license test rule proves that clearly this wasnt looked into enough nevermind it can be removed:tup: At the end of the day it is a game as Jack says thanks Jack your posts always hit home:), gedis rules were a simple guide to avoid p155 take corner cuts the rest last season we left to trust and only followed up incidents which you guys pointed out as gedis rules state. This season with the introduction of the stewards has become a little more strict weather thats a good thing or not up to now im not so sure.:indiff: Its a real shame we are spending all our time bitchin over such stuff im sure all of us at the end of the day just want a bit of fun for a couple of hours on a monday night?? I can say Paul just for the record no way is Gedi saying you need to cheat to win i know for a fact behind the scenes who wins dosent bother him in the slightest he just cares that everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet fella thats all:) Bottom line is we dont always get things right we know that its harder than we thought to try and keep everybody happy actually its flippin impossible!!:dopey: But we do our best with the free time we have available and i think 95% of the guys are happy with things.:nervous: Another season is in the balance tbh if we cant get things water tight its unlikely we will bother so come on everyone lets try and put this behind us and get on with what is just a game which we all enjoy!!💡

Plus he just wants to help and Photos visualize cutting issues much better.

I think he is a bit confused or he wants to erase the confusion the first post brings.

Just chill a bit calm down and we are fine.

Are you for real?? That's a bit harsh saying I'm over reacting!! I care about our series and our drivers and he is annoying a few of us.
His attitude stinks and it's putting a downer on this series.
