By issue we mean, I took a short cut, T-boning him across the Indy Road Course all the way to Daytona Road Course were the impact of the crash gave JB concussion and he carried on thinking he'd won the race by a mile :sly:

Ha ha...! That is unfortunate and quite a journey!!
 
Wasnt my fault I kept my thumb hard down on the accelerator aiming directly for JB's door to be fair.

Cool, race one was a blast. I was under pressure and trying to sneak past you Jonzster :sly: was a good battle 👍

Done a few laps this morning that new lsd setting is truely fab Gedi shame i only discovered it yesterday!:ouch: Anyways 141's are good i managed to nail 2 laps a 140.848 and a pb of 140.705 on the limit!

Race 1 was fine had good battles and could gain 1 position :D It´s not my Track.

Race 2 began great till end of lap 4. JB squeezed himself passed me at the final sector and almost caused me to end in the Wall
=> paulmac or Nel closed on me and I braked at my usually spot but my Car wouldn´t want to => overshot the Turn and smacked into JB

Rest of the Race was epic Time waste from myside. Trying for a 1 stopper but failed. Visited the Sand at T3 and man I thought you would loose huge at Suzuka but try to get out of that sand trap -_-
Lost approximately 10 seconds => all others closed on me and passed me due to better Tires and through cheezy moves -_-.
Had to pit at Lap 24 again => stuck at 3rd last position.


I don´t like this Track.
By the way I know where I lost the Time: Final sector.
I loose 0.6-0.7 seconds there.
First Sectors I am 0.2-0.3 seconds away (quite close) but before the final Turn I am 0.8-1 second behind.
Don´t know how you guys flew through that Turn but I couldn´t :D
 
Was a bit anti this track pre race King although from my point of view it turned out better than expected. Apologies for the squeeze i do recall it i was on max lock but carrying alot of speed and understeer took over:guilty:
Guess things evened up in the end.:sly:
A couple of S1 classic tracks could well be back for S5 Deep Forest and Trial Mountain.💡
As for the Dodge being off, guess it was the track i know Andy mentioned 132.6's in his pre race.:D

Well I have to subtract a few tenths when comparing to Andy due to him useing a Wheel.
Wheel users can "over-steer" to compensate the understeer a bit, which DS3 users can´t do.
So me doing a 1:33.2xx as fastest ever - 0.6 => 1:32.6

I had so extreme Understeer while drafting I had to lift at the Banked Turn O_o so I know what you got into but you could have pased me 100% clean 800m later so ...
But me not angry because I screwed it later in the Race due to my Sand-collecting Hobby xDDDDD

Yay for highlight videos again! :) Great to see them coming back :D

Yesterday's race was mighty fun, the last races in generel have been fantastic I think! (Yes even Monza where I ran out of fuel xD ) Had some really nice battles with r35, jonzster, johnny etc.

Just wanted to say a few things about me missing qualis and finishing on low positions in the first races lately and high in the long race... One might maybe think I do it on purpose so that I should get a high starting position in the long race... but that's not the case.I have been doing a few 65 hour weeks at work in the 2 recent months, and also played a few other games recently, all in all resulting in very little practice ahead of the actual race (and lately some missed qualis too). Just as I had catastrophic races last season with the jag in the long races, this season it's been vice versa so far. I can assure, I would much rather finish 1st or high in BOTH races rather than in just the long one :D (Preferably with jonzster in second so that we bridge the gap in the team championship :))
 
No fingers being pointed Toffe please dont think that:). You have done us a favour if anything by drawing to our attention the points awarded for each race are basically flawed:guilty: JB'S fault i might add.:indiff:

Back on topic, really enjoyed yesterday felt very much like the old S2 days, big grids, good racing, and the usual names with people like PaulMac and R35 included :)👍
