I managed one high 48 with the Lexus (track suits) it was an honest lap. 49's are the benchmark.

Any one like to talk me through best lines through 1st chicane at Monza. Just now i run over both rumble strips, straight line from strip to strip, but it compromises my exit and i have to wait before getting on the power. Can you get away with a little dab of throttle mid corner etc. I know it's helping the opposition but we are all 1 big happy V8 family.

That's 4 teams formed looking good so far 👍

For me Stu its pot luck i often get on the power a smidge to early on the exit and its curtains The perfect lap for me will result in nailing the power as early as possible depends how brave you want to be i spose.

Agree on the power to early = grass I would let the car coast through the chicane, no dab of throttle mid corner and change up early on exit.
Are you agreeing with me cos the first part of what you've written there is almost exactly what I saidMid-Chicane at Monza with a little throttle is a no-no. Best thing to do is slow down as much as possible, but at the same time letting the car roll through the chicane without any brake input for best result. Thats how i normally try to do it, as soon as i get mid-corner of the second corner, i gently start pressing the gas to get the best effect. The trick is getting the right braking at the entrance of the chicane though, if that is wrong, the exit will be ****.
Just out of interest, am I the only one who misses Season 2's regulations?

This season looks better than last season, all the cars are about 0.5 within each other on most tracks - whats not to like about that?
I miss my Ferrari.
Ok I miss those cars - McLaren vs Ferrari would be great to see one day - but Im looking forward to S4 more than those cars 👍
