I had exactly the same aim last season. I had to qualify for the first round, which made me slightly nervous. Thankfully after round 1 I was clear of the pre-qualifying and could then just concentrate on the main racing.

You'll be fine mate, your single lap pace is excellent so you'll qualify no problem.

My single lap pace may be better than yours but there are some fast new drivers so I'm nervous... It only takes one mistake. Or a slightly over ambitious overtake to punt you off and ruin a race... I just hope I can qualify high enough to keep me in the with the front runners and not have to overtake too many back markers... My take offs suck being ff...

APPARENTLY the tire bug is now fixed. PD did not mention it as an official correction as the probably believed that if they didn't say it was a problem to fix, it wasn't a problem. Im reading that people who have tested it say it's gone

um, it took 45 minutes to download.i then went into the game and there is another install that is going to take 2 hours, is that right?

scratch that, its jumping around and now says 20 minutes

it was really annoying. after a pit stop the tyres would handle differently and the lap times would always be slower. the pit stops would always be laggy and could make or ruin your race

The pit stops were really annoying, I have to agree with you, they were just terribly bugged.. :/
If that has really been corrected that's a big improvement for online racing I believe.

The tyre bug after you pit has been fixed guys! Confirmed. Finally!! Now it's actually worth doing a pitstop haha! Not sure if the laggy stops have been sorted out, need to test it with more people.
