well it's the replay I saved for you mikey, shows you what you not see.
Ian had lag problems so maybe talk to him on how he sorted it.

It may of just my room, I have the speeds but it can make problems when I host.
Reboot router and clear cahce out on ps3, that may help before racing.

There again it maybe me as host, we had Hurley doing 600mhp down a staight in btcc 7.
In fact hurley took off, Think Ian got the pics on hurley 100ft in the air.

We all just wanted his new turbo but it was lag :(

that was brilliant that was. think I have the pictures somewhere, i'll find them tomorrow

Nice little test session last night. 👍 It's not an easy track to master, although there are only really a few turns, it's really easy to lose time and make a mistake.

@rolo912011 - how many laps are we doing? 12 laps is about 21 minutes with a pitstop, but the tyre wear is quite low, maybe 13 would be a better number?

I'm feeling fairly confident about RBR now, all I need to do is avoid everyone else on the track. :ouch:

Especially me with my superlag ;)

 Hopefully that was a one-off.

Have you got a decent internet connection? I haven't noticed you lagging before, so I'm hoping that it's reasonably decent.

Try the following websites and post your results.....

Ping = ?

Yeah i do have decent connection, every now and then it'll go iffy but who's internet doesn't? :P

Yeah i'll try those sites later when i get home :)

Exactly. 👍

I think that most problems are caused by having more than one person using the internet while racing. Even my missus caused me to lag when she was using her Nintendo DS. She's now banned from having the Wi-fi turned on while I'm racing. :mischievous:

I always get good results from these but I get more than my fair share of disconnects, especially on longer races. I pay for up to 30mb so I'm glad I'm getting the full whack. Haven't had the chance to test the new modem over a longer distance but tbh I'm not hopeful; I think the main problem lies with PD/Sony and any small discrepancy in your connection is magnified by their incompetence

That's a good result. 👍 The jitter could be lower, that's what can cause problems, but thankfully your ping is really low so it should be okay.

PD/Sony do have their issues that's for sure, although my connection (although rather slow) has been fairly stable for a while now. It's rare for me to DC. As you rightly said, any small discrepency and your thrown off the server.

Tough race at rbr for me i think .

First week in a while where I dont have a chance at pole .

I guess 3 2nd places is the target.

There's always a chance Skeng. It only takes one mistake to alter the results of a race.

I'm not sure how the reverse grids will go. I struggled at Brands.

What times Ian doing now?

Dont think he showed all his hand but he is in the 41's

41's are a perfect lap for me or 2nd stint times , I managed a 41 8 in one of the races , it could of been draft assisted too possibly

I seem to have an advantage in the final sector and his tires seem to drop off after the 2nd lap so I still have a shot at the win but just have to be realistic .

Pug is struggling round to a 42.6.. it's so bad since the update haha :/

RBR is an FR track, no doubt. All about power delivery and the corners just suit a car being thrown in, which FRs are perfect for.

My 41's are usually with draft.

I have got some left to give though, my gearbox is shocking so that'll improve things.

I disagree with Rolo, this track is an FF track, it's only really sector 3 that the FR can dominate in. That said, I can do a really low 42 in the Hyundai and I'm not very good at driving rwd.... Perhaps I'm just good around this track though. :sly:

Well after my holiday in Scotland I'm back... Just did a trial run around the redbull track.. I was worried that I would be slow... A1:42.7 on lap 11... 2 nd set of tires mind you after a pitstop check to see how the pit lane was... So yeah I'm a bit slow at the mo... Need to properly learn the track yet... Oops that should have said 1:42.7
