Does the MX5 still have to weigh at least 1100kg? At 500pp it's got 306bhp and weighs 932kg, but puts in only slightly faster times round Autumn Ring than my C30 ...

Adding 168kg will ruin it, and if it's allowed it will be like Touring Cars of old, with the MX5 being a little nipper round the bends but very slow on straights etc?

Just wondering.

Yea your torque and power curve are similar, that explains the high end speed, im trying to work out the same for the BMW.

Hmm, dunno how you've got 342bhp out of it ... were you the bright pink one? mines handling much better now than in those races, just because I've popped abs back on

I feel strongly that me and James (HMS) will make a strong team through the series, now starting work on pushing the 135i's abilitys, to insure the status of the car being a strong competitor on track.

It will be starting soon. GTWelsh who originally organised the series has been really busy with college work of late but had an email from him yesterday saying that he should be back next week.

If he is not up to handling it then I will take over the running of the series but like I said before please bear with me as I work long hours and don't have a massive amount of time to organise.

Having said that we are running regular pre-season rooms at the moment and having nightly races. There will be another one tonight i'm sure!

i enjoyed last night guys to 330i (think thats what i had) felt great, it weights a bit but its great in the corners, plus off the line.

ive been inactive for a little while so not sure if im still in or my team mate (who last i spoke to wanted to change car, but i love it lol)

Yeah that beemer was good yesterday. I couldn't believe how fast you were. I'm used to lap you a lot.

Seriously you had great pace in Cape Ring whatever(don't know which version was, as i don't like that track and it's great off the line as was expected. Just like real BTCC and WTCC, where they can gain some places at the start over the FF cars.

Nah I'm running the supercharger - less peak power, but I think the torques higher and spread nice across the revs.

Will stick the high rpm turbo on for fast tracks though - I was losing a second on Nurb last night in the final sector.
