Good racing again tonight, though turn 1 is often very messy.

Think the integra is fast, but not as fast as some make it out to be :P The 1 series bmw is just as quick, and the 3 series I think paginas was racing yesterday. I'm sure most cars can be race winning, but personally have only tried the integra. Tbh it feels quite fair, cars have their strengths and weaknesses too 👍

Awfull night to be racing :yuck:

I'm still trying to figure out how I can go from second to last(11th or 12th) in the first turn. Not pretty.
Since we are testing what about testing one night with Heavy Damage?? Too see if drivers respect each other better.
Or then do many 1 lap races so people get to now each other and the limits of the car. Like cold tires for instance. You can't go into T1 thinking you'll do the best brake manouver ever. Not gonna happen.
Really disapointed with tonight test session.
Hope too see improvements.

PS: I think the Integra is well capped now. Joshua was puting good fight against Mole today.

Hi guys. What times are you going to run this one? Looks like a lot of fun in here. 👍

About heavy damage. It's in the OP, but not used in the races?

@Andil

I don't know what Josh has done to that BMW but me and HMS are stumped! His team mate was level with us, but josh's setup just sweeped through Monaco!
We definatly need a chat.

And yes, trying out heavy damage sounds like a great idea, but i also think we need to remind everyone that there will be penalties given out for abusive driving, by managers watching the replay, and guidelines must be set.

Chris

The reason there's carnage in this test sessions is because we were lettin randomers into the rooms to fill up the grid a bit...

@Kamy just because you got knocked back to last place doesn't mean you have to rage quit, as I proves on deep forest rev yesterday. I was knocked back to last, then moved up to fifth, the knocked back to seventh and still managed to finish the race third ;)
With the integra still being so fast, it should be easy for you to gain a good place back...

Well after that messy start at Nurburgring, the carnage kept going after the first corner and I was so angry I almost rear ended someone, so decided to go back to pits to calm down.

In deep forest it wasn't anyones fault. Accidents happened in front of me, and I couldn't avoid the spun out cars. When I hit the second one my car went to the wall, so I decided to park it there.

Monaco... No coments. :indiff:

I have to admit I'm bad for piling into T1. There was one incidence last night at Nurburgring where I saw a gap on the right hand side and went for it, as i was full under brakes knight_spirit came round from a group of cars on the left and cut right across my path.

Hindsight sais I should have pre-checked but I simply didn't see him and went for the gap. Heavy damage is a great idea because everyone will be way more careful. We run heavy damage in the Clio Cup and it makes it really fun.

I was trying to be extra careful last night as on Wednesday i think i was being too aggressive and angered a couple of other racers. Contact is eneviatable and what really annoys me is when you are clearly understeering and someone tries to take you round the outside then complains that you 'rammed them'. This happened to me twice last night.

I reckon we have enough regulars now to start running private test rooms, which helps the connection and gets rid of the randomers in race cars issue.

Probably won't be on tonight but will be over the weekend :)

Yeah. I was braking earlier because he was in front of me and I saw you coming fast. It would work if it wasn't for the pink car in the middle of T1, wich you probably didn't saw because of my car. But then all the field braked late and I think they all left a scrap in my car. :)

Can we quit the 'integra is so fast' stuff? Its clearly not after last night if a 1 series can beat it at high speed deep forest and at slow speed monaco.

But yes, I got knocked to 7th at nurburgring gp and still won, and to last at monaco and came 2nd. Don't give up! :P We should definitely try heavy damage, it will almost definitely stop crazy starts.

Lol the Integra really is stupidly quick mate, before PSN went down we started doing back to back car tests and the integra was nearly a second quicker than any other car (with the same driver)

I think alot of it comes down to setup but for example after all the races last night I bought one, powered it to 300bhp and did all the suspension etc (but didn't fine tune it) and it was .5 seconds quicker than my fine tuned 355bhp BMW round GP/D over three laps.

I do think that Joshua has a great setup but possibly suffers from 'jimmy syndrome' meaning that for some unknown reason he is insanely quick!!

Lol
Yeah, but you might consider both me and mole may sufer of 'jimmy syndrome' too. lol
Just look at the WSGTC thread and you might realize that. And hell there mole is faster than me, but I got a good setup (after several hours of tuning it, and I'm not that good at that) and more important a good feel on the car.
I would like to see other Integra drivers on test sessions, so we are not caping it based on me and mole's performance.

I hope that didn't sound too arrogant.

No doesn't sound arrogant at all mate don't worry about it. Yea I want to make this as fair as possible so it comes down to driver skill more than the car itself.

also a thought has just occured... has anyone else noticed brake fade? or was it just me getting tired last night and not braking properly lol?

This. There are other drivers in integras who are always in the midfield. But myself, kamy and josh are quick, no other way to say it.

I would go as far to say the 1 series is quicker on a long run; the integra wears out its front tyres very quickly but the bmw doesnt suffer the same (nor for its rears).

Edit: is anyone online today? I have the day off work if anyone fancies some testing etc?

Yea sniipez was running a teg, don't know what was going on there as you are right he was mid-field. I can also vouch the Teg does trash its front's but so does the 135 with the setup im running!

I'm not feeling to great so may go home at lunchtime, if so i'l be on this afternoon. Otherwise Knight_spirit, FragmeCG and Saggyscrot are all dirty students so they will probably be online 👍

👍

I found my self changing brake pressure on front during the races. Specially wednesday when I was confortable in the lead in both Nordschleife and Laguna.

So as it looks now the Integra will run at 1200 Kg right??
Because now it's on 1999 with full ballast. :) I have another one at the garage waiting for confirmation to go to the paint shop. :)

I'm kind of inclined to scrap the PP limit of 500 because it's really not an accurate representation. A focus with 500pp is alot quicker than say a megane with 500pp. Whereas the 355 limit is alot more fair. I'm also thinking of maybe the minimum weight being 1200kg.. with maybe an exception for the MX-5's as they are running mid field with 1050kg...

Thoughts?

Personally I think we should probably keep it as it is as were starting pretty soon!

Plus if it changes I'll need to find a new RS as with max ballast I only hit 1093kg!!
