This is where you're most likely gonna be finding me. I'm more than up for BTCC meets on GTA in the Thursday slot if people are up for it. Plenty of jobs to do, plenty of races. I'm just after more of an arcade-style thing at the moment.

I'll keep an eye on GTP and may participate in championships in future, but hosting is a bit too far for me now.

I've decided I'm going to drop out from Thursday's race at Tokyo as for this week, my puppy is more important and I don't want to waste anyone's time. I'll be back next week since I feel it would be better for me just to take a drop score for this next round.

shame about btcc coming to an end but it was great while it lasted , season 4 still the one i hate because i lost by 1 point to andy

Maybe. Depends on how cheap the PS4 is by then - because I'm sure GT7 will be a PS4 game - and how good GT7 is. You never know.

Closest season we've had for sure. He was lightning quick but his behaviour let him down.
 
Looks don't always mean a great game, but looking at the guys behind it.
It maybe not a bad game, some of the NFS games been.
Real or to arcade, loved pro streets.
Pro streets 2 was a little over the top, for the real thing.
In car movment great, but there was something missing.
Maybe it was GT5 coming out lol
 
It's not just about the looks. To be honest the graphics in gt6 are good enough for me. The racing experience in that vid outshines gt6. The AI looks 100x better (it's not hard), things like split times to the guys ahead/behind you, your engineer taking to you, and don't forget they actually had qualifying!

Will anyone be on tonight? Not had time for any practice for tomorrow's race yet.

I'm not Rolo, but I'll answer anyway. :lol:

Still waiting to hear back on a couple of the stewarding decisions, so it all depends on that really. Points will be up tonight at the earliest but more than likely tomorrow.

Apologies for the delay.

That Tokyo race was actually ok, I kept getting into a battle with Alex and Rolo though. :lol: with the start/finish straight being so long it was difficult to break the draft and make an escape. I had the pace to catch them, but not to get away, so there were a few close finishes. 👍

I couldn't quite understand why the pit entries were soooo slow this week. 10mph into the pit box is a bit strange when we consider the size of the pit lane. Is Tokyo always that slow?

It's happened at quite a few tracks where pit entries were down to 12mph. You have to be really lucky to pit when you can get into the box at about 30mph.

I'm fairly accustomed to the 12mph entry, I get that regularly. :( Pitting is a lottery in GT6, sometimes I'll get an average stop, quite often I'll get a slow stop and then on the odd occasion I hit the jackpot and fly into the pit box at speed. :lol:

It did the exact same thing in GT5 too.

I guess we could argue that it's like real life, sometimes drivers get a poor stop. A bit like a server disconnect is the equivalent of an engine failure.
 
Not sure about the pole time, but Rolo's about right with 51.2 I think. The fastest laps were about 50.6 - 51.1, with draft and low fuel. 👍
