Dunno about the cars we use but I had a test in DTM cars yesterday and compared to what it was before the update tyre wear is about 50%. Also read somewhere that where you could normally do 4 laps on hards on Le Mans you can now do more realistic 8 laps.

we did a few test with the bosz on monza rainy. starting with 40% wet and stable rain. By end of 3rd lap wetness is at 100%

The rain tires last forever. Driving on wetness up to 60-70% is not a big deal, the braking points are to be adjusted about 50ms earlier.

over 70% wet up to 100% wet the lap times are really slower and many sweepers start to be dangerous.

all in al i don't see why there shuld be problems racing with variable weather.

we did lots of laps and beside a couple of wide turns and a few not so perfect chicanes we had no accidents even while racing one against the other.

as a last thing driving with a wheel, on very heavy rain is worth almost 2 seconds per lap!

i think it'll be fun and exciting.

Great you took the time to test it 👍
A race in the rain should be interesting!
Never tried it online before :scared:

i was there and 2 cars out of the championship sent me out in R2. the problem are certain behaviours and drivers. racing on the rain it's not a problem at all.

If things do not improve with the drivers it's best to start giving disqualification and have dirty drivers sit out for some races.

Any idea when the season will begin Geeky?

I believe 6th October, I know we have had 1 test race then the real thing.

Also tyre wear will be on along with the pitting,
(the window will be 1lap before and after 50%)

Store this in memory, and then store it some more folks. It will be the rule all season.

Let's say a race is 20 minutes... count how many laps you can do in 20 minutes. That will be the laps - halve it, and using that rule is the pit window 👍

e.g. Tsukuba will probably be 20 laps, with pit window 9-11.

Friday is 5th October, by the way.

can we have as soon as possible a definitive calendar with N° of laps for each circuit and if they are raced normal or wet?

Monza or Suzuka to be wet?

Dates are easy. Round 1 is 5th October, and then the next 9 Fridays.

Monza.

Suzuka is more of a challenge in the dry so I reckon the easier of the 2 to be wet......

I would like Suzuka to be run in the dry too. But that's is of course to favour the rear wheel driven BMW.

Btw, is it the full Suzuka or Suzuka east as in season 1?

Even better, let's have an unofficial wet race championship, just like F1 has an unofficial european championship

btw where are we running today? monza wet and?

oh and what were the best times at last race in GVS in s2?

Indy Road Course? Trial Mountain? Cape Ring? Basically any track that isn't on the calendar and is good for touring cars.

I think 2:04s were the best.
