Costa Concordia checking in. Good races, apologies to geeky for my QE2 like cornering in R1 and congrats to JB and Joe for the stirling wins!

You have no reason to complain, you made passing us all look easy while we broke our a**es trying to avoid that

I have every reason to complain as it goes rules state 2 wheels on track not 4 wheels on run offs.

2 entertaining races and i'm not even too angry to comment

on race one i had a very strong and beautiful start fighting for top position before being sent wide by my team-mate (no prob mate you're faster i know and bring home the points ) and then on the same lap being taken out at the first corner of lap 2; still i managed to get back on route, run fast pitted early to get advantage of the fighting ahead of me and managed to recover from 11th to 8th IIRC.

all in all nice race, still too bad for the "usual" accidents

Race 2 was quite ok beside being roughed by julle and morten (i guess that was because or rear wheels spinning from their bmws) julle managed to "touch" crash the 2 beautiful volvos togheter making it the second volvo-volvo accident of the day

Don't worry julles, it's just that out FF car is ****ing heavy in the front (like 65/35 weight) and a light touch is very often enough to send us wiiiiide (like it happened with m3 on race one touching me very lightly and sending me building sand castles).

past that i was in the fight for long, but our weight killed our tires (right m3?) way too soon and i had to pull back from attacking morten.

beside the usual crashes that damaged me i had more fun this time. it was either a lil better or i'm getting used to it

can't wait for the race summaries.

BTW i was cracking up when after race one chat johnny said "what crashed on karsten again?" or something like that i felt a little more light-hearted after that

Right mate, at least 2s slower, but I think we both did a good races today (if we don't take into account the rockets )

Are you running a stock setup Geeky or have you tried to set it up? There must be some more performance in that Civic.

chose the stock set up as I had 2 civics

Does having 1000miles on a car effect the performance much, as I had trouble keeping up at cape ring ?

At least I was having a ball of fun (dont ask how balls are fun)

No, no. I had a set up, but for race 2 I changed the stock one to on which could only go 122mph WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!

also i discovered that sc61 rear crashed me yet another time... Geeky can you ask your team-mate to be gentler to me?

You're welcome, and it doesn't matter tbh, I lost it with my VERY bad pit strategy (I was hoping to have an advantage being on fresher tyres but they didn't heat properly )

But once again you managed to miss a great fight, me and M3 (I think it was lap 2 or 4), M3 came on my inside to T1, I have to let go of the inside, M3 goes a little wide and does an in-out-in in T2 where I then slip through on the inside spectacular shots there, that'll be part of my photo collection for sure! 👍

Yes, it's true, I tried not to cut it but you were there, we clashed and I was "forced" to cut. Maybe I should give the possition back, but in turn 2 you overtook me, lets say, not very honestly, and it was still in my mind and I thougth that with this action it was balanced

In any case, I apologize, I shouldn't do it.
