maybe i've been exaggerating a bit but after such a frustrating season without even a podium, seeing my chance for decent race being brushed off by off-race drivers pissed me off

Racing is the most frustrating sport in the world.


From time to time, you'll get stuck behind a rather slow Canadian National karting championship, get out of the kart, and smash-talk a National champion on television. Been there, done that. In the end, when you get a run on the national champion, in the next race, he will spin you.


Racing sucks. That's why I love her so much.

Not a bad idea I suppose, although I would say stop new entries with 3 rounds to go. People like skeng have come in halfway through and have proven to be very respectful drivers. He might even be 7th in the points in the end.

I would prefer an half season close because races are determinating for catching points. If you stop new entries at 3 rounds to go would be too late to unmess season results,and for newcomers only 3 races are useless to learn a car,imho.

Some interesting racing again last night. Tyre wear was big problem for me in the first race.

Second race i think geeky spun me at one corner but he did wait for me, which was good. Don't really know what happened, was carnage with so many cars side by side. Had a pretty decent race afterwards, my tyres lasted a lot better so i caught i few people who seemed to be struggling with tyres.

I agree that we need to be more patient when going for an overtake, and wait for the right moment. Everyone probably been overly aggressive on overtaking at some stage though, me included.

Was an education watching lastnight if we all cut out the divebomb move (alot of us are giulty tbh) and learnt a little patience this series would go from strength to strength theres still some fundamental flaws ruining it.

Patience is the key. Most often if you are following someone closely behind you will pressure them into a mistake, then the overatake is easy. Happened to last night...the two beemers caught up with me in the first race, so i stuck to the driving line to make the overtake difficult for them. Missed my breaking point for one corner and that was them through.

Don't even have to wait for the mistake. If you get better drive out of a corner, you can position yourself along side the other car on the striaight into the next corner and take the inside line.

Suppose everyone will get better at it with practice.....its alot different racing against people online than against the A.I.

I'm truly sorry for spinning you in the first corner (2nd or 3rd lap I think) and ruining your race. Waiting didn't really matter as I had to quit anyway, which makes me feel a bit like an a-hole. Just have to get it out of my system, and again, I'm really sorry. Hope it won't happen again.
