In the car-list was written - 2013, but in the trailer - 2009. Why?

There's another strange thing with the year of the Diablo GT2.
Looks like PD doesn't care much about model years.
But don't forget that the list is not yet complete, maybe they will correct the years later.

I'm sure it's a typo or something. I'm pretty sure we get both if it said '13.

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Apline A110 (which was wrongly listed as '72) get corrected to '68 in some screenshots or a video only to just recently be labelled as a '72 again?

Other way around. It was originally incorrectly listed as '68 and it was corrected to '72. Same goes for the Toyota 86 Racing that was initially listed as '08 and was corrected to '13.

Could be the fault of whoever updates the website itself, not the people putting the cars in game.
Could be. We know it happens a lot with PD/Sony. They (or maybe their publicists) can't seem to ever get the details right.

But as syntex123, they could have premiumized the older standard model. Why not? They are not that different looking that it would require that much effort (unless the interiors are drastically different, I have no knowledge of that). If we're lucky, the Veyron's could be the new Skyline/GT-R/Miata/etc, same (game) model with different stats/years stuck to it!
:sly:

Yeah, PD should give us at least the Super Sport version instead of the original one.

they wont give us SS because they would have to work on it.... however, if they give us the same model just made in another year, they can say they gave us a whole new car.... got it? If not: they simply have a premium Veyron and the old Veyron, so they have 2 cars on car list.

The 2013 Veyron would have LED headlights, the one in the video has the original units, so this does represent how the Veyron looked in 2009.

Hey, at least it's premium now. They did the same thing with the M5 in GT5, as well as with the Z4 3.0.

Off topic: I'm afraid of saying this, but I hope they get the sound right this time...

The new Alpine A110 in GT6 is a different version than the standard.

Well, I'm no Bugatti guy, so I eventually don't notice the little nuances between the 2009 and the 2013 version.
But in my eyes they look absolutely similar.

It could also be the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport since it looks pretty much the same as the normal Veyron.

sorry, so the car of the trailer is the 2013 version?
I highly doubt it. To me the one you put up looks very similar to the 2013 model but the one in the trailer and GIF's look like the 09 model. There's just very subtle differences in the exterior you need to look at to differentiate the two.

This is the Super Sport.
If You check the official website, You can see, that the 2013's bumper seems to be the same as in 2009.

On the site you linked to, it says "created on: 11/30/2011", which I believe is the last year the standard Veyron was produced. So either PD got the year wrong, and it's actually a '11, or they got the name wrong, and we're getting a Grand Sport or Super Sport, which would be nice (or maybe I'm just wrong altogether).

You are getting this wrong.
The one in the vídeo is one of the early ones (without leds on the lights) http://www.netcarshow.com/bugatti/2009-veyron/
The 2013 version is not much diferente, in facto is just minor changes (like the headlights), there is no Grand Sport neither Super Sport on GT6 (atleast for now).
Go here and you can see most of the veyrons ever made, note that there is no 2013 Veyron because is the same as the 2009, except those lights. http://www.netcarshow.com/bugatti/
