Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (2013 or 2009)?

There's another strange thing with the year of the Diablo GT2.
Looks like PD doesn't care much about model years.
But don't forget that the list is not yet complete, maybe they will correct the years later.
The year for the Diablo GT2 is correct. There is only one Diablo GT2, it has apparently had different bodykits/aero packages over the years. The model in the game is the same 1998 Diablo GT2 that's in the Lamborghini Factory Museum.

There are pictures on the internet that show the Diablo GT2 in it's original incarnation, thus leading to confusion.

There is not such a thing as a 16.4 '2013 Veyron. Maybe... MAYBE... they are talking about a SS Veyron...

If they just remade the '09 Veyron as a premium and are trying to convince us it's a new, recent one, despite the post-'09 Veyron features different headlights and bumper... then PD will lose all my respect...

Are people seriously arguing over the year of the Veyron and finding out which model it is? Really? Guys it's only a typo, nothing upon that. PD mistaken its year. lol.

That's what I thought this whole time. It can't be anything, but a mistake PD made with the car models. Seriously, they marked the premium Alpine A110 1600 S as a 1968 model earlier this year when a 1968 1600 S doesn't exist and did the same with the TRD 86 racing. I'm not surprised at this point that PD would make another screw up.

In the car-list was written - 2013, but in the trailer - 2009. Why?

To me this looks like a standard. I cannot explain why but the region around the left headlight, especially the grey shadows, look less refined than premiums. The left indicator also looks 2D.

I get the same impression, I hope this is the case.

Now I think about it, that Veyron was made well after GT4 for GT PSP and is higher quality than the usual standards. Many thought it was a premium from GT PSP pre-release postcards. Not surprised it looks great but not quite to premium level.

Only thing I am not sure of is the clear glass like it has a good modeled interior.

Excatly. I hope before release, PD will fix this since it's rather silly to mess this up. o_O

This is obviously very possible. It'd just be somewhat stupid if they had then just premiumized the one that was already in GT5, and then said it was a new car. The Veyron shows up twice in the GT6 car list. Once as the supposed '13 model, and further down as the standard '09 model.

For a company that claims to work 3 months on a single car to get every detail perfect, PD sure do a lot such 'screw ups'.

As said before, it's a typo (or pretty big research mistake), there is no '13 Veyron 16.4, only SuperSport editions are made now which PD surely would lable as such and promote a lot more.

I've just checked out the list, and also found it was listed there. What the??? I really PD fixes that, because right now that's just looking silly...

If it is a typo then PD better fix it, i'm someone who can't stand wrong Details in games, I flipped once when a certain game stated that a stock '69 440 Charger could do 178MPH.

Why is the rear wing/air-brake not up in the trailer when the car is going around the karussell?
IIRC the Veyron's wing deploys once the car reaches 140mph or during heavy braking, so it's probably going too slow around the karussell for it to deploy.

I don't think it's a typo. You don't put two model years of the same world famous car on accident. At least, that's what I'd like to think, since the only Veyron models being made now are the Grand Sport, Grand Sport Vitesse, and Super Sport, and I doubt they'd put in the convertible Grand Sport because they want a roofless and a base version.

It's clearly not a Super Sport, Grand Sport or Grand Sport Vitesse so that leaes you with one possibility, that PD have put the wrong year on its name. Not a big deal and easily correctable. It's certainly won't ruin GT6 for me.

Gotta be a typo, because the RR Evoque also suffers from this problem I think (labelling it as '13 when it's not)

I doubt it's a "standard" because it has a proper rear numberplate and such, which the "standard" one doesn't have.

Only PD would give what is probably the greatest production car ever so little respect in its inclusion in a game. Why isn't every variation of the Veyron included in glorious premium when other dev's manage to give a decent spread?

Seriously I sometimes wonder what are they smoking whist they go and spend 3 months rendering other Skyline.

6 months* lol

Fingers crossed the car in the trailer was a standard and we get maybe a 2013 Vitesse premium.
But then again, thats highly unlikely.
