I could also outline all the problems with our Subaru BRAT, but, um, it doesn't even start anymore, so… :D

You have a brat?? Haha, that great. Those things were so ugly.

My daily driver: 90 Geo Tracker(I think it should get in just on that.)

Pros: 4x4(I live in northern Iowa so it my not be a pro to you)
28mpg
It has a tow bar so if it breaks down I can get one of my trucks and tow it home

Cons: ITS A FRELLING GEO TRACKER!!
Its made from old beer cans
200,000 miles
Its the anti-babe-magnet
No power steering
Runsting
Radio sux(no cassette or CD)
Complete lack of power
Weakest clutch ever made
Smokes
Drinks Oil
Rattles
Feels like it will shake itself apart at 60 mph(At leat it will hit 60 lol)
Really bad to insure(because kids keep rolling them)
Driver's door bent down so it must be lifted and slammed to close(I slipped on the ice getting out)
And finally, ITS A FRELLING GEO TRACKER!!
Update:
The driver's side key lock is jammed and no longer works

M5Power
You know, there used to be a trim level of the GMC Sierra known as the C3? They only made it for one year - 2001 - and it was basically everything the GMC Sierra Denali is now except without the kickass four-wheel steering. So it was kind of a waste. They didn't meet sales goals until four-wheel steering showed up the following year (which coincided with the renaming of the truck as the GMC Sierra Denali).

gmc_sierra_c3.jpg

Yes it was called the C3, and it was pointless. The Sierra Denali had all the luxury touches of the C3 and 4WS. The Denali replaced the C3.
My mom has a Denali and the 4WS is great. It makes towwing long trailers really easy and her truck has that same turning radius as my Tracker.
Below is a pick of a 2002 Denali that looks just like Mom's. Note the flared rear fenders to cover the wider rear steering axle.

I just wish it had the integrated trailer brakes like the new Fords.

So am I worthy to join?

I'll have to check with Event.

I think you should too

slimer90210

How the hell do you get that?? :odd:

edit: what the hell.. I'm the only import.... :grumpy: I want out, maybe I'm just complaining too much.

Oooh! I'll join!

1990 Honda Civic LX
180,xxx Miles

Pros:
Reliable. Gets me from point A to B
Good heating system.
Even starts up in the coldest weather.
Can go up to 290 miles on a full tank of gas.

Cons:
1.5 liter displacement + Steep hill + Auto transmission = Nightmare.
Hideous rust along the wheelwells.
Cramped ride.
Cigarette lighter dosen't work.
Brakes are bad.

slimer90210
I updated the info. Forgot a few of the Geo's lesser points.....

Sure... no problem. The worse your car is/looks, the better your chances are getting in. He should be here in about an hour -- so we'll just have to wait and see. I, however, see no reason why he wouldn't accept the car.

I think you should too

How the hell do you get that?? :odd:

By driving very slowly? :dopey: It's not powerful as he said before. With my turbo, I'm probably averaging 11-14 mpg, but that:

A. with mostly city driving
B. a huge 22.1 (US) gallon fuel tank that offsets the poor fuel economy

edit: what the hell.. I'm the only import.... :grumpy: I want out, maybe I'm just complaining too much.

Don't leave now! :scared: We need variety in our club! :)

Its a 1.3 liter with a 5 speed tuned for max milage not power.....

And a GEO Tracker is just a rebadged Suzuki Sidekick so I have an import too... technically...

Yo, I'm down!

`93 Accord EX Sedan, manual transmission.

Pros:
It's a Honda - runs forever.
Lots of trunk space?
Moon roof?
Paid for?
Man I dunno.
Starts nearly every time I turn the key. If not immediately then maybe in a few minutes (:
Manual transmission
Averaged about 31 MPG for the past four years.

Cons:
197,000 Miles and counting
Smashed front-left quarter pannel, driver door doesn't open all the way
Temperature knob broke off
Water leaks into passenger's floor
Rear seatbelt doesn't wind up
CV joints are just scary to think about
Front wheel drive

:dopey: true... lol, I've always looked at it like a pos that rolls over.👍

yay... more imports! whoo hoo!

After reviewal of these entries, 86, an unamed "unofficial" judge, and I have some announcments:

LoudMusic: You're in. (: It is all leaky, the door doesn't open all the way, and the rear door doesn't open. Very shi++y

Slimer: Congrats, you're in, too. It's a tracker. No power steering, and it smokes. 'nuff said.

Akirax: Sorry, you didn't make the cut. It doesn't have any real problems, just bad brakes and cigarette lighter and a lack of power. A little rust is natural. If you can think up of some other stuff wrong with it, or post pictures, we will reconsider.

I posted earlier info about my Seat Ibiza not fully understanding what this thread was about. Right now I'm driving a Seat Cordoba, better than the Ibiza, but then my Cordoba still works.
I was telling MrktMkr1986 before in a PM that I bought it because it was cheap and had 4 doors, he thought it was a nice car, Cordoba's are nice cars IMO, in good condition. Mine was very cheap, at one point it had 3 doors but when I bought it, it had 4. I needed a car fast, was going to spend £700 max on one, and didn't care if it past it's next Mot. By then I'd have a new car anyway. As a result I've decided not to spend much money repairing the Cordoba.
The pro's first then.
IMO it's a nice looking car for the price and age of it.
It's cheap to run, insure and repair if I decided I will.
The radio works.

The con's.
Theres a hole in the radiato, it's only a small one, but I need to refill the water every morning.
Only one front wiper works, the other would work if it were there.
Theres a dent in the rear quarter panel the size of my fist.
The heater doesn't work on the passengers side.
It's currently at 156k miles.
It's green.

I PM'd Event with my decision. If it were entirely up to me, I'd say you're in! I still have to concur with the Event though, so... I'm awaiting his response. :)

I had to consult 86, VipFREAK and our unnofficial judge on yours, L4S. The Vote is 2-1, with one obstaining. You're in! Congrats, err... suckstobeyou...

I am for sure in!!!!
no way can I be denied!
My Daily driver is a 93 cavalier rs 2dr auto
Pros
good gas milage
61k miles on it
pioneer cd head unit sounds ok
keeps me from putting a ton of miles on my Stang
Also since i am a painter it keeps the interior of the stang clean
cheap insurance rates
goes great through the snow...
got it cheap...
um....... thats about it....

Cons
It's a Cavalier!!!
It's Teal with a lil pink pinstripe 👍
It has a 2.2l time bomb with no power at all (110hp)
Front anti-roll bar endlinks are busted off = lots of body roll
Brakes are about dead...
Driver's side rear quarter window got busted out by accident at work
Fixxed said window with cardboard and duct tape :)
Rust spots on various parts of it
staring to leak coolant a little tiny bit
also the exhaust is starting to rust apart..lol
its very dirty inside
has a leak somewhere near the cowl so the floor is wet often...
Its teal with a pink stripe!!!!!! And Im not a girl....or a sissy..!!!!

Whoohoo, I have a crap car. Errrrrrr :odd: .

GTtrackd02: I'd like to let you in, but that Mustang down there is mocking me heavily.... How often do you drive it and how ofter do you drive the cavalier?

McLaren F1GTR
Good god, guys.
You're banned from this thread. We all know whatn you drive. I'd like you to know that there are much more crappy cars out there than there are NSX's. You just wait. If you laugh at us, we will one day be more powerful than you could ever imagine!

I made some changes on the first post. I put links to each persons car in the thread. I will add a banned list in a bit.

Cavalier I drive every day to and from work about 20 miles each way..
also when its not nice out.. oh and trust me it looks much worse in person..lol

I would say the Cavalier to Mustang ratio is about 80 cavy/20 stang

Mustang, well in the summer i drive it almost every day after work..
Winter i drive it about once every week or so
my car is soooo mistreated, i have a garage for it and still it sits like this :(
sooooo sad!

Sorry, GTrackd02. We (the judges) feel that you obviously have the money for a better car and can drive a really awsome car whenever you want. You choose to drive that crappy car and we feel that you would not be a good fit for the club. All of us (AFAIK) have to drive these P.O.S.'s because it is our only means of conveyance. You, obvioulsy, don't have that problem...

I am crushed, but its understandable...lol

oh well, I may have to sell it soon (mustang) because of a lil stupidity some tuff times....So if that happens I'll re-apply

You have a brat?? Haha, that great. Those things were so ugly.
Whaaaaat? I love that thing! :D When I mentioned here that "truck makers these days don't know how to make decent-looking flying buttresses", I had the BRAT in mind as a truck that has great-looking flying buttresses. Of course, it helps if you know that we have the 2nd-gen BRAT, which is decidedly better-looking than the 1st-gen. Well, the cyclops eye is a bit odd… But it's pale blue and has white rims. How can you not love white rims?!

💡

It also has a near dragging muffler. and a huge dent on the roof. It's such a freakin eyesore.

EDIT: Jeez, almost forgot, I was comming home from the 3rd shift one morning I was comming off the ramp and on to the highway. Then out of nowhere some guy tries to run me off the road and my passenger side mirror smacked a pylon at 45mph. It's actually pretty cool to look at. :D
