'Murican format works fine, but the PC2 online lobby has it the udder way. I hope the date for tonight is how I have been practicing. It feels cold like it really is a Texas November. the lobby show 8/11/00.

The race is in November. I'll start putting the actual date in the thread. I wouldn't want someone to screw up the date for their practice........that would almost be like taking someone out in an Indy car in the last turn or the first lap at Sonoma National

Great! That makes it clear! Like spinning out at a hairpin but not understanding why. After all people that live in glass house got to much to look at. Not the first crack in a window and not the last, I'm sure. Look past it!
 
The standings after Week #2 have been posted in report #3. Good job tonight guys. Nice start and clean race. Looking forward to next week. I'll have tracks posted by tomorrow night and the fuel posted by Friday night. I should have the highlight video done and posted by tomorrow as well

Sorry late responding......we are getting ready to start week #3 of our current 4 week season. We currently have 16 active drivers but it seems like we always have at least one spot open every week. I will put you down as a reserve driver and send an invite out to you if we have a spot this Wednesday
 
Kinda quiet in these parts considering we have two heavy races starting in a few hours :).

What was I saying about 90% luck? I was not the fastest on a single lap. But, when it came to the race, my idea is to setup for control throughout the WHOLE race. Many things change before one gets to the checkered flag. Where some setup for lap or straight line speed, I wanted my car to handle in the twistier parts. I could keep up with the lead pack. But, it was LUCK that got me a win last night. Our league has some fast drivers (tuning or even internet speed and expensive rigs is why ?) and that makes it very tough to find P1. So again, I say luck was on my side this time. I'll take it!

I dont necessarily agree with it being 90%. A lot of the things you say are true but you also had to keep it between the lines for 50 minutes last night. Surely that took some skill on your part.

Also....I've had cheaper wheels and more expensive wheels (currently racing with a Fanatec CSL Elite) and I've had cheaper rigs and more expensive rigs. I can honestly say that the cheaper wheels and rigs definitely help the game be more forgiving on the driver when it comes to over driving, over braking, and general mistakes altogether. Maybe the more expensive wheels are better off on a PC which can take handle much better equipment. IDK. I know as I have progressively moved up the quality department in sim tech I have progressively gotten slower and slower. .
