Well the videos were somewhat on topic due to V8 power. And I wouldn't mind that sound in the Corvette C5-R.So thats where PD recorded their sounds
I really hope this is going to be a free car with an upcoming patch. Imagine cruising the ring in your camouflaged Corvette?

Gran Turismo 5, as a whole, is weak in the American sports car/ super car class.
A C7 Vette would go very well with the new SRT Viper, Shelby GT500, ZL1 Camaro and Boss 302 Mustang.
It's a stretch, but it would be very good.

I think that'd be too much work to include in a 2 year old game. I'm hoping they include a livery editor in GT6.

This makes perfect sense to me. It has happened before. Besides, any new cars tend to come to the game like this, only to unlock them later with the purchase of a 100KB key.
So we know the car is actually in the game. It's only a matter of time until it's unlocked.
Now, where are those boys who unlocked the DLC cars before they were available on the store?

I'm just glad it's not another Nissan. I'd like to see somebody unlock it since it's already in the game. Hopefully we'll get the new Viper in GT5 or GT6, I'd love to drive the new and improved beast.

Id much prefer the 2013 Viper over the C7 but that doesnt look like it will happen. Oh well..I do love Vettes too....It will be a travesty if they get the sound wrong yet again....

wow I just can't wait and still playing this game since day one. wow 2 years been that long already. PD thank you I love forza too but i hate how turn 10 dropped the game for that pile of crap called horizon.

Turn 10 is not developing Horizon, another developer is. Turn 10 is still busy cranking away on Forza 5.
That said, this Vette is really a change from out of nowhere.

I agree. That is one of the things that I enjoy the most about Forza. I can spend nearly all day just painting/editing cars. If they added a livery editor similar to Forza's, I think that would be a step in the right direction as far as GT becoming a complete game, for me anyway.

I'll tell you one thing, Chevrolet and PD have a nice relationship together (ZL1 soon, maybe?). Ever since GT1, Chevrolet has had many of their best models in GT games.
I do hope that the Mustang fans get their hopes answered. After Shelby's death, I expect a GT500 to be in the next game. Or at least some other current generation Mustang. If not, that's a damn shame.
