It doesn't look like he's really trying to me though... he's coasting up to quite a lot of the corners rather than late, heavy braking... suppose it's tricky to know for sure other drivers have spotted you when you're travelling so much faster than them... some of the closing speeds are incredible.
Oh, and it sounds immense!
And nice to see one of the Jaguar test drivers (might even be Mike Cross) getting a big XJ properly sideways around 2 minutes in

I've not actually watched it all yet, no sound in work 
I think I remember from the magazine the only time they could get it to the ring before it went to its new owner in America was on an open day so there was too much traffic on the track. It didn't beat any records but it came close so hopefully one day a generous owner will let someone take it there again for a closed session.

Hate to revamp an old thread... But what ever happened to this? I remember seeing it and wanting it straight away. Heard not a peep from them since 2008. Yet, their website is still around. What gives?

I think the Top Gear and Fifth Gear reviews pretty much destroyed their reputation. Evo loved it, but nobody reads evo (comparatively speaking)

The fact that they sent a pre-production prototype to be tested by Fifth Gear and Top Gear well before the car was fully sorted was a completely absurd idea.
