I first thought it was a heavily customised Beetle next to that 356, only to realise it was one of the cars that influenced the Beetle. Then the 603 came to mind, as did this:

Really? I've had that album longer than I've been interested in Minis and have always been able to tell its cover depicted a graffiti-bombed Mini with broken window glass and a bent door frame behind Elizabeth Westwood in her leather jacket and coiffed hair.

Failing visual confirmation, surely context goes a long way.

Anyway...it was an attempt to introduce alternative source material, given there's a rich history of cars on album covers. Since that didn't work, here's another car equipped with a BMC A-series:
