It will enhance it.
If damage comes out, game will not FORCE you to use it. It should have ON and OFF switch, as well Low, Mid, High Damage modifiers.

So everyone leaves happy
 
I personally think that damage WILL ruin the game, unless it's done terrifically well!!
This is why GT5 will pretty much not have it, IMHO
 
Depends on the AI.

Last time I check AI does not rams me out of the way (cough cough Forza2 cough)

If you race like you would in real life, its all good.
 
What? The AI driving in GT4 was appalling. 90% of the time I was just running time trials against myself with that game.
 
Isn't there already like 3549792 damage threads? Anyways, I agree with Nox...if you have to have it on, that kills an entire market of racers who are inexperienced because the game would be too difficult. If PD implements it, I'm sure they'll do it right for a game as big as GT5.
 
Even the PC sim racing games you can modify how much damage you want, or just turn it off. Simple.

In GT5P its fixed. I never had issue they spin me out .. maybe a couple of times, but it was my mistake because I try to over take them on tight turns. If you obbey real life racing rules, and over take them one bye one with many laps, I think AI in GT5P is good.. But its bit odd to have such AI with only 5 laps.
 
Of course sometimes the AI also rams you BUT that can also happen in a real race (that an opponent kicks you out) and its not like in GT4 even with more cars on track.

We need to go to Japan and storm PD offices with pitch forks and torches demanding Damage and other aspects.

No we dont, Polyphony Digital knows how important it is for the community, its the most wanted feature since GT1.
 
I don't think we need yet another thread on damage. Use an existing one to talk about it.
