Simple question - what do you find are the best ways to make cash/experience in this game? What jobs do you perform that get you the quickest and best results? At the moment I've resorted to doing biofuel conversions. They take 3 days but you get a chunk of cash for them.

Depends on your level. I like to used the Car Wash (4hr) at the beginning levels. I now use the antenna ball (30min) to get quick xp, DVD install (12hr) over night, Monster Truck (8hrs). I generally pick a job when I know I can come back about the time it will be completed.

Now I try to stay away from short high level jobs. I missed the cash time couple times and loss lots of money :( If you spend time to calculate the profit, the high level jobs only give you a little more cash and xp.

When I was first playing this game I did car washes but now I just either do 10 hour wing installs or 12 hour paint jobs because I have to work around school, work and the dentist so it is a bit difficult...

If I'm going to be on the pc a while then I do the 5 minute wash over and over, and I have a timer that goes off so I don't miss getting to them.I have leveled up allot doing it that way.

You get all the money back that you spent to start it. They only costs money to start so there's a penalty if you miss it when its done.

20k more and I'll have the 69' Skyline GT-R. Been saving for it over the last few days, probably would of had it tonight but I bought the 240sx for no reason at all, well actually I sort of want it just for making a HKS livery like Franz.

EDIT: After that I'm going for the NSX, can anyone tell me how much it costs? I've not unlocked it yet.

You get to test drive it at some point, ask jswilli1 because he is test driving it right now. So, every race he sends me with that car I have to lose to help him out, which sucks losing on purpose, but even when we race milk truck against milk truck he still beats me by a good bit. The last 2 times I raced him I was in my bedroom which I only get 1 bar connection because the wifi I am "borrowing" is across the hall so I need to be in the living room to race, racing with lag causes you to redline allot.

The NSX is $75K, however ...
it will be available for a test drive at level 25, along with R34 and 67' Mustang. I am glad that I only bought the NSX before level 25, not both R34 and NSX.

I did an update to my Zombieland Escalade tonight and here's how it turned out. It sucks that the in game camera just gives you the one option, you can't see the top or anything that I have done, in case its so small you can't read because of the horrible camera angles they give you on the front about the window it says, zombie crusher:) And on the hood is the zombieland image that is the logo, the world on fire and all. The roof has a huge image of the zombie clown. I really wish the camera system was better on this game.....

I just started playing this game this morning as I am bed ridden with the 'flu. :(
For those that have said it is ok to others in this thread, I wil proceed to add you on Facebook. I'll say who I am in a message but if it doesn't show up, I am Allyn Preece. ;)
Only 3 of my friends play...
This game is really addicting :D

Cool 👍
I think I might have just voted for that in a car show? Either that or it was one fairly similar :P

I actually made some slight modifications too it since I posted that pic. Now it's got a full black tint and a dark red colour. Although it's basically the only non-stock GT-R you'll probably see.

Currently doing long jobs so I can get lots of cash and level up quickly. An easy way to cash quickly is to do pizza delivery and give pizza to friends once a day. You get about $50 form each friend so it adds up quickly. Honestly it's kinda shady if a friend tips you $50 for pizza.

You actually have it backwards, doing long jobs gets you cash and experience slower than than doing the fast jobs per hour. If I'm going to be on the pc then I will do the basic car wash every 5 mins with a timer, I usually level up one level while on the pc.

I have to do long jobs because I got a full time job during the summer and I can't just do the same thing over and over again.

What's the best car for 30,000?

My Pinto isn't cutting it anymore(can't win any races with that thing).

30 minutes and I'm up to level 12 and I only started on Monday... I think it is fair to say that I am addicted to this game :P
Still feeling pretty ill and I am so bored!

Don't know what to tell you on that because my fully modded Pinto runs some good times if you get a perfect stage, and all 3 shifts perfect. But if everyone you are racing has things like Vipers and such then you won't be able to come close to them until you level up.

I just did a practice run in my Pinto and ran 4075, that's not that bad for that class of a car.

I just started playing this yesterday because of this thread and I am fully addicted to it!!!!
Level 10, and having a blast! It is a really good game to play while at work.

I always hear people talking about things like this is a good game to play at work or this is a good thing to do at work, I have never had a job where I could or had time to do anything but actually work. I've always had to do manual labor, I need a job like I hear about where I can play games and get paid :)

I work compressed work week (12hr shifts 7am-7pm). I work every Thur-Sat and every other Wednesday. Bascially two weeks a month or half a year, however you want to calculate it. I sit in front of a computer station for 12hrs w/4 monitors to watch. Easy for me to stream Slacker Radio, surf GTP or Facebook or whatever. I did plenty of manual labor back in my Navy days:tup:
