Am I the only one thinking it's the 2013 SRT Viper??

since that car is already unveiled and SRT has close ties with Turn 10..probably

Im still saying Z35..its got the proportions of something more that size not to mention the roofline...but we will see.I think its certainly something more that size of a car

I think its the replacement of the supra, maybe you know about it toyota and bmw working on a sport car and a year ago they released a concept picture of it and the covered car we saw looks like it.

Guys, seriously, it's not a car that's already known to the public. That defeats the purpose of covering it up.

What about the cover of GT5? That's wasn't an unknown car. Neither was GT5p.

The purpose of covering it is to stir up the pot. And it's working. Personally, I'd like some little tidbit of info or a tease every week or other week until release. They've got to keep the wave moving.

I highly doubt they would cover a known car up like that just to create a bit of talk on the internet. It's not like it's got millions talking, just a few hardcore fans that always look for something to talk about.

But once again that isn't a Toyota design so it's irrelevant that it matches up, unless the person who made that design has seen the real one from Toyota and copied it.

You may be right..

A new toyota/bmw concept car will be unveiled at Tokyo Motor Show which will start on Nov 22nd, pretty much in line with expected GT6 release...

There are really many liveries which fit well under that cover (Stingray included) but I am also of the idea that the car itself has not been unveiled yet.
Also, if you look at the livery (=cover) section just above the front wheel, you may see a particular design, something like a very little wing... which is not present, as far as I know, in the cars discussed in this thread.

Both cars were new at the time the game released, and neither of those covers had veiled cars on them prior to the final cover being revealed.

Yes, or it's a tuned/race car like the Ford from the GT4 cover.

Actually, the Ford GT on the cover of GT4 wasn't the Race car, it was the road car:

Its even in the background of the main menu.

It's the Nismo 370Z. The long downward sloping nose gives it away.

PD has had a huge connection with Nissan via the GT-R development and GT Academy.

It's not a GT86/FRS/BRZ because the overhangs aren't long enough. It's not a supra concept because Toyota hasn't said anything indicating that they are even considering such a car, let alone preparing a concept and shipping it off to PD. Nor does the purpose of the cover have to do with unveiling a concept car (the Camaro was in production long before GT1 came out).

Take a look at the big swooping nose on a Nismo 370Z and it's obvious.

That Supra render is not an official Toyota design and therefore it cannot be that. Nice car though I admit.

I just don't believe we can write anything off at this point.:)

I personally posted a Porsche, but I do believe there are others in this thread that could fit the bill.

The car behind the blue cover is a new car to the GT series, that's my guess. Not the corvette or the GT86 or the 350z. i would put my money on an european car or an american, Ferrari perhaps?
