every feature that PD have put in years by years in every gt full version, they always carried on...
thare will be its normal, with addition of new feature... they continue to carrie and upgrade their creation and ideas...
in gt2 they settled the idea of rims... in gt4 they putted it with more feature like wings, spoiler, and wheels of the day..
in gt4 they putted tuner brand... in gt5 this feature will be keept with addition of new and upgraded options...
they never go back with theirs ideas, they always go further...

Same here. I never really used the car wash because I don't think the cars even got dirty. Hopefully cars get dirty, then you have to clean them. Like GRID.

i just hope they change the car wash to be more realistic- the car spinning was really annoying- made me feel like i was being hypnotised.
a drive through wash like GTA IV would be fine.

if you think about it, there really hasn't been a need for a carwash, because even after the LeMans 24hrs, your car really isn't that dirty.... what PD needs to do is keep the car wash, and make the cars more dirty after the race-ya know the way real cars look after a 24hr race, road grime all over the front & rear bumpers, and maybe even a few squished bugs on the windshield....

If you still have GT3 run any car for 20 hours then take the car wash. You'll see that will cars color is brighter. The car wash does work poeple.

Car Was is actually a very important feature since the first Gran Turismo game.
When your car gets dirty it loses it's aerodinamycs. It can vary up to 10% of aerodinamycs abilities.
You "bring back" aerodinamycs to their default value by washing the car.
It is part of the overall "Ownership Philosophy" of GT series, which later evolved into Oil Change and mileage counter (GT3) and Chasis Refreshment in conjution with mileage for each car (GT4).
Very strange that nobody knows this..
But I guess working reverse lights and livery editor are more important for the philiosophy of some game than subtile references to real-life aspects of car ownage
