Tbh i dont think real sim racing is for me, With Forza or GT i could chill on the couch and play with a pad for 6 hours straight. An hour or two with a wheel and im done, then we have PCars annoying the hell out of me to top it off. I also done my living room up and having the cockpit sitting there is annoying me would be ok if i had a man cave but it sticks out like a sore thumb in the living room.

Actually looking at the leader board was good racing with ya. See ya..... lol

I race controller and don't do too bad.. give it a go next week.

Telling me the room was full but on 3rd try i noticed you's had started, Did you's go from end of qualifying to start the race straight away? If so i reckon maybe i was trying to join right at the end of qualifying and was to late?

Think i've had enough of PCars now, Just problem after problem with it. Gonnae stick my cockpit and Wheel/pedals on Gumtree see if i get anyone interested.

Please don't mate, if your seat is in the way you could sell that and get a playseat then hang it on the wall when you're done.

Is anybody else slightly confused as too why SMS have added yet another class? In fact two classes, the Aston Martin is in the GT2 Historic Grand Touring and the Mercedes is in the GT3 Historic Grand Touring, why they keep doing this I have no idea, yes it's good getting all these cars but I'd rather get some of the classes we already have filled instead of adding 1 car here and 1 car there

Yeah i will get tuned in with the pad this week see how i get on :)
 
Since i only got 5 laps done last night i went back on with the pad later on...3x10 laps. Couldnt get any quicker than 2.7 seconds slower than with the wheel. I did feel more at home on the pad though :)

What control settings do you use Mark? Have you changed anything?

I have changed quite a lot and have uploaded screenshots for you. Also I use the old GT accelerate and brake on the right

joystick instead of using the triggers..

How ever you want mate, you can configure it how it suits you bro. Personally never tried it. But twig seems to relatively quick! But I think he use de X and square for break and accelerate. But rack to there own. I personally used R2 L2 before the wheel, but never tried motion.
 
enjoyed coming from the back ..but i do think we should have a drivers agreement that we dont use the reset to track button not having a go but cupra did it twice the first time was right in the middle of the chicane and i pooed my pants lol forgot about the ghost thing they have done

Any of you guys with a keyboard hooked up you can press CTRL + K and move the camera around...just been messing with it.




To enter the mode you press Ctrl-K.
Then the following keys become active:

Numpad 2: increase pitch
Numpad 3: switch lights on/off
Numpad 8: decrease pitch
Numpad 4: increase yaw
Numpad 6: decrease yaw
Numpad 7: increase radius
Numpad 9: decrease radius
Numpad 1: increase roll
Numpad 3: decrease roll
Numpad -: increase FOV
Numpad +: decrease FOV
D: forward
A: backward
W: up
S: down
Q: left
E: right
SHIFT key in combination with any of the above: slow down camera movement
Numpad 5: reset to original settings for current camera
