Cars that look best in odd colors

I love this Cadillac in pink.
But if you paint a small hatchback in the exact same color, it would look weird.

Not a big fan of modern Ferraris usually, but this 599 GTO is glorious. While British Racing Green is not necessarily an odd color, it's not something you expect to see on these. They should stop offering the Scuderia shields, the cars look so much better without them.

No shields is actually standard. Scudetto shield is actually an option because the fender is indented!

A red Ferrari is considered an odd color? Don’t get me wrong, it looks stunning, but after all it’s still a red Ferrari.

It's not a shade of red (more like burgundy, in this case) that people usually think of when they think of a red Ferrari, though. Most "modern" Ferraris are usually associated with louder colors, so when something more discreet comes around, I do think it's a bit odd.

Still hard to say the new 4-Series looks great. But seeing photos of the newly released San Remo Metallic green on it, reminds me of Oxford Green. Looks fantastic. The color that is, maybe not the car so much...still. I saw San Remo on the press photos of the 430i convertible and thought it was fairly classy with the chrome for what it is. But I didn't realize it'd work well on the M440i/M-Sport 430i. Now I want my work to order an M440i or M-Sport design 430i in this color.

There's a German company called Prior Design that's already posted renders of their idea of a fix. It ends up looking like a 3/4 scale 8 series, though.

That's...not doing it for me. The M4 is mostly fine, but the kidneys are massive and the absence of brightwork draws the eye to the fact that the bumper itself bisects them.

Yes, it's a simple gun-metal grey which is not an odd color in itself, but it's not something you'd expect to see on an F50. I think it improves the looks of it quite a lot. And it's further proof that Rosso Corsa is the worst color for a Ferrari.

I've been posting too many Ferraris in here lately...
