At one point in time, i adored the Lamborghini Diablo. It's still one of the most evocative cars of all time even after 20 years. I had to fight for a while to get my dad to get the Bburago 1:18 model of the SV, which still stands proud and nearly untouched after 18 years or so now.

Then the 'love' waned a little. The first pictures of the 'new' Diablo emerged The huge turbines on the back made it look rather futuristic. When the Murcielago was finally revealed i was a little dissappointed, but Lambo's were still dear to me as fantasy cars. Then i found out about cars like the Cadillac Sixteen and the TVR Speed 12, the XJ220, the F1 and all of those cars, and suddenly the Diablo found itself being pushed to the back especially because very few games got the car done right. After GT2, the car pretty much never got featured in a proper racing game, at least not in it's stock form.

So then i got FM4. I raced to get enough credits to buy the Speed 12 first. I love that thing.

But then i found myself wondering what to go for next. 400k left, so i thought, lets go though all the car manufacturers again and see what i can buy.

There the Diablo was, looking at me with it's squinting eyes, and i thought lets just get it. The nomad never wooed me in GT5 - Somehow it just wasn't "right". Then i noticed that the SV in FM4 is *exactly* the same model that's sitting on top of a shelf at home, the one from 18 years ago, so i got it in a heartbeat and started driving.

Oh my god, the love is back! Screw the Murc and Reventon - The Diablo is back :>

I'm wondering whether anyone else had something like this happen to them? Not just limited to Forza ^^

Not quite as long, but any game to feature a rx7 or viper i will ALWAYS try to get either of those cars first. Ever since I was 4.5~6 years old playing the original Need for speed. After those cars being so cool in that game I always try and get them first/fast as possible.

I know how you feel but almost in reverse. Got this sitting in my real garage just begging me to get it going again, that is project 2012. In the meantime, I will settle for driving the game version. :)

Well, ever since I was a kid I always had the hots for the Porsche 911... and I'm talking about early 80ies here:

That wing.. the wide rear end, the immense tires on it.. I've always said that is the car I want to drive some day. Me and my brother now have one that doesn't look nearly as good as the one in the picture and it has an engine that doesn't run anymore, so we can't drive it yet, but we're working on it =)

Being an Audi freak, I was instantly attached to the R8 but then I gave the TT a whirl and have one that is tuned perfect. Really like that car now.

My user name and avatar are self explanatory in regard to this thread... which is why Forza 4 was somewhat of a disappointment for me.

That said, the lack of Porsche's has given me some incentive to try other cars. I absolutely love the Lambo Miura ('67). Can't get enough of that car. Also, while a member of iRacing a while back, I fell for the Mazda MX-5 (Miata). I really enjoy driving and tuning those little beauties!

The included Ruf's are nice and I especially like the RGT8, but there's NOTHING (for me) like driving a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS!!!! Still hoping for some kind of a Forza miracle, Porsche-wise! ;)

Classic "Whale Tail"! Love it!!!! Good luck with your project!

The Escort RS Cosworth. I love everything about this car, its rally heritage, its purposeful styling, its glorious engine noise, etc. I've been waiting for a serious driving game to feature this car for years, and now with Forza 4, I can finally experience the legendary Cossie. I am not disappointed, it is as fantastic as I imagined it would be. Now I want a real one. 💡

Although I love the Cossie, if Turn 10 added a Rover SD1 to Forza 4, I'd be even happier.

Porsche not being in the game has done the same for me. I can tell you I'd probably wouldn't be driving much else as it and the BMW were the main cars I drove to be honest. But this time around I'm in all kinds of different cars getting a new experience all the time. And no better time for it to happen than in the best Forza yet.

I like almost all the cars in F4 but the one that truly sticks out in my head for not only looking great but also handling very well is the Lexus LFA. With very minor upgrades this car is so much fun to drive.

You forgot the best part, the noise! Although noise might be harsh, it's almost music. Easily one of my favorite cars to drive.

For me, what appeals me to a car the most is the sound it makes. There is just something about hearing the high revving V10 of a Lamborghini Gallardo or Audi R8, the deep V8 rumble of an old American muscle car or just the sheer sound of power from the huge turbo in the Audi Sport Quattro S1.

You know, what appeals to me more than anything is how the car feels in my hand. What it gives to the steering wheel to give to me.

Love the Sierra Cosworth, especially with my Brock Mobil 05 livery, so easy to kick the tail out and able to keep up with A class cars
