Am I the only one who misses the JDM market models and kei cars?
Daihatsu Opti, Daihatsu Terios Kid, Honda Accord Wagon, Honda Civic Ferio, Honda Life T, Honda Logo, Honda Z Turbo, Mazda Eunos Cosmo, Mazda Familia, early 90s original face Mitsubishi GTO, Mitsubishi Galant, Mitsubishi Minica, Mitsubishi Mirage Asti, Mitsubishi Pajero Mini, Nissan Pulsar, Nissan Sunny, Subaru Alcyone SVX, Subaru Forester, Subaru Pleo, Subaru Vivio, Suzuki Cervo Mode, Suzuki Wagon R, Toyota Caldina, Toyota Chaser, Toyota Corona Exiv, Toyota Mark II etc
also regular versions of models
Daihatsu Mira TR, Honda Accord SiR, Honda Civic EK SiR-II, Honda Integra SiR-G, Mazda RX7 Type RB, Mitsubishi Legnum ST, Nissan Skyline GTS, Nissan Skyline Sedan, Subaru Impreza WRX, Nissan Silvia non-Aero models, Toyota Supra SZ-R etc
and I think the game should delocalise, and go back to original market names...
no more Mitsubishi 3000GT, but Mitsubishi GTO
Daihatsu Cuore = Daihatsu Mira; Daihatsu Sirion = Daihatsu Storia; pre '05 Lexus GS = Toyota Aristo; pre '05 Lexus IS = Toyota Altezza; pre '05 Lexus SC = Toyota Soarer; Mazda 2 = Mazda Demio; Mazda 6 = Mazda Atenza; Mazda 323 = Mazda Familia; Mazda 323F = Mazda Lantis; Mazda MX5 = Mazda Eunos Roadster/Mazda Roadster; pre '97 Mazda RX7 = Mazda Savanna RX7/Mazda Efini RX7; Nissan 200SX = Nissan 180SX; Nissan 200SX S14 = Nissan Silvia; Nissan 300ZX/350Z = Nissan Fairlady Z; Nissan Almera = Nissan Pulsar Serie; Nissan Micra = Nissan March; '99- Toyota MR2 = Toyota MR-S; Toyota Yaris = Toyota Vitz
Plus the various everyday global models such as the Alfa Romeo 145, Alfa Romeo 155, Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, BMW 5-Series, Citroen Saxo, Dodge Avenger, Dodge Intrepid, Dodge Neon, Dodge Stratus, Fiat Cinquecento, Fiat Seicento, Fiat Punto, Ford Focus, Ford Mondeo, Ford Mustang (90s), Ford Puma, Jaguar XJ, Lancia Ypsilon, Lotus Elan, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Mercury Cougar '99, Mini 1.3, Opel/Vauxhall Astra, Peugeot 306, Peugeot 406, Renault Clio, Renault Laguna, TVR Chimaera...
Vector and Venturi probably aren't gonna happen, since they've both gone bankrupt and been repurchased and haven't appeared since GT2... MG is also a long shot now cos of their new Chinese owners and absence from GT PSP...
I'm sorry for the vast length and such, but I loved GT1 and GT2 cos of their insight to me (as a child) into cars from afar, losing their original JDM market names loses their appeal, (a Mazda6 sounds crap compared to a Mazda Atenza...) hopefully cos of onlineness and the ability to play with folk around the world, standardisation will apply (probably will seeing as in GT5P we got the Mazda Atenza Sport 25Z and not the Mazda6 etc) which will make me smile =)
I also highly doubt most of the models I have mentioned will return when most of the world wants Lambos, Ferraris, Skylines and Lancers...
