The Rules for the race say that all other driver aides beside SRF are optional. So I suppose you could use tcs.

All aids are allowed except SRF. This is a "for fun" event so people can use whatever they're comfortable with.

I was asked about the hour long qualifying.

To clarify... Nobody is required to qualify for an hour. The time is there for test/tune/practice/qualifying if needed.

I'm running 1st set of test simulations await time slips, I hope I'm competitive with so less tuning time for the race.

Yea I caught word of the psn being down late last night. On the brighter side at least now I can get more practice in. I ran a 12 lap round with ADR_BRONCO and found out that I was way of pace, by at least 10 secs a lap! I was running as fast a 3:38.xxx's in practice, but in Broncos room I was only able to hit a 3:44.xxx for some reason? This is definitely a steering wheel track so if you have one, I suppose you will be super fast here!

Joe I had the room quality on very high, other than that I don't know what could of been different.

You have to practice in online mode. The physics are different. Lap times will always be lower offline.

I found that switching to sports medium tires in offline mode is closer to sport soft in online.

Also I recommend you to use your mini map. When I turned my on 9 I increased my lap times by 10 secs, now I'm running faster with it off cause I memorized the track.

I'm assuming the time will be the same? I might not be able to make it this Sunday, as I'll be on the road in the afternoon. I'll definitely try, but I no longer have the whole day free.

Yes the same time. But we could do it earlier if everybody agreed. Earlier would be fine for me.

Actually I might have a league race conflicting with this, it starts at 4 pm, so if we could start like a little earlier I'm down with it.

How about moving it up an hour then:

Qualifying to start at 10AM Pacific, 1PM Eastern.
Race start time of 11AM Pacific, 2PM Eastern.
Race would be over by 12:30 Pacific, 3:30 Eastern.

Yea I'm sure I will find time, that session was after my 1st time in that car and at the created track.
I may have a problem making it this Sunday? I had that race scheduled into my real world calender, so it getting post-poned might of been a really bad thing, but I won't know for sure until Sunday morning, so we'll see whats up? Hopefully the kids don't need anything at that time slot?

I could probably work with an hour earlier. Looks like I need to start practicing again, however, it looks like I'm not quite as slow as I thought. My main goal in practicing now is not getting faster, but making my tires last longer, and keeping my times up on worn tires. After all, it is an endurance race.

I will be in and out so I may not be on the track but the room is open.
