i took my caterham sven fire blade to laguna seca and took a bout 50 laps around the track, i'm very surprised about this car because its faster then i expected and it has supreme handling. so after 50 laps i set a time of 1:25.49 with a 2 minor mistakes in the 2 turns beforethe corkscrew (if anybody can tell how to take this turns perfect tell me i always screw up)
i want to know if that is fast because i dont see any inprovement possible exept those 2 turns.

forgive me if i placed this in the wrong section i wanted to place this in the fastlaps section but i dont have acces to that section

sorry for my english (im dutch)
my caterham has 239 hp btw on raing tyres medium

My 208bhp Lotus Elan with nearly all modifications available in place posted a 1:29.something at Laguna Seca on Racing Super Hard tyres. Racing mediums should knock a couple of seconds off of that.

When modded, the Elan is much, much faster than you would expect. The Elan is turbocharged and therefore probably has much more torque than the bike-engined Caterham. This should give the Lotus an advantage on the uphill sections of the course. The Elan also only weighs 585kg with all weight reductions so the Caterham shouldn't have much of a weight advantage, either. It handles with perfect balance which allows it to corner without scrubbing off speed. It also has superb levels of grip and excellent brakes. With all this in mind, I'd say your time is probably pretty good... but then again I am sure there are many out there who could easily beat my own times :)

just finishing off the laguna raceway enduro. B-spec of cause lolol raced 50 out of the 90 laps and knew i can win it so handed it over. anyway i'll give it ago in something with similar performace stats in a min and post again

WISH ME LUCK! :dunce: :) :)
