I saw a thread about this, so I made a poll of the most celebrities wanted on the thread.
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a Porsche, I can tell you that I don't have the license. But what I do have are a very particular set of cars; cars I have acquired over a very long career. Cars that make me a nightmare to people like you. If you let that Porsche go now, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you.
And I will give you a GT-R.

You forgot 'nobody'.
I'm more keen on Clarkson, but I'll take May for the sake of argument.
Due to the unique way the BBC is funded (and because Clarkson is a freelance journalist in his time away from being a BBC journalist), I'm doubting that Turn 10 has an exclusivity agreement on Clarkson.
This, and if there is one (improbable) then it is a bad idea getting May or Hammond. That simply says to customers that forza got the best one and gt6 the leftovers.
Lets face it, old and new top gear (and other media) have always been about Clarkson and he is the one that attracts masses, not the other 2. Hammond is replaceable but Clarkson is not, and May is just a running gag on the show.
No, just no. The 3 are equally awesome. May is not a running gag.
James May actually replaced Clarkson on the original Top Gear before it was canned, so you're wrong there. Pretty sure Hammond also appeared on TV shows before he was on Top Gear.
yep, he appeared in like one episode but just like Hammond he was pretty much no one before new top gear, and you have to admit that those 2 are very much replaceable especially May, who is a replacement after all.
You're confusing outspokenness with capability. May has shown that he is perfectly able to host television shows that have nothing to do with Clarkson, automobiles or even comedy. He has the exact same background that Clarkson has. He just hasn't been on television as frequently.

With 1% the audience, and that's what matters if you are going to choose from 3 hosts from a different show. PD should pick the popular one, not the leftovers.
