You're doing a licence test. Say, the last Super Licence, and it's on the Nurburgring.

You are rising the crest at the end of the straight with about 10 seconds to go for the gold. Suddenly:

Would kind of break your mentality, yes?

And Ew. Keep Hammond out of as many things as possible, please.

Poll does not include Patrick Stewart. Also doesn't include comedy Jacques Villeneuve option, so therefore incomplete.

:D

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a Porsche, I can tell you that I don't have the license. But what I do have are a very particular set of cars; cars I have acquired over a very long career. Cars that make me a nightmare to people like you. If you let that Porsche go now, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you.

And I will give you a GT-R.

GT-inspired movie: Taking (A Long Time)

Due to the unique way the BBC is funded (and because Clarkson is a freelance journalist in his time away from being a BBC journalist), I'm doubting that Turn 10 has an exclusivity agreement on Clarkson.

This, and if there is one (improbable) then it is a bad idea getting May or Hammond. That simply says to customers that forza got the best one and gt6 the leftovers.

Lets face it, old and new top gear (and other media) have always been about Clarkson and he is the one that attracts masses, not the other 2. Hammond is replaceable but Clarkson is not, and May is just a running gag on the show.

Obviously the one and only person to guide you through GT6 would have to be:
Top-Gear---the-Stig-001.jpg

You'll get the task, and he'll just stare your sorry 🤬 down until you get it done!

No "celebrity" narrators please. Actually no narrators at all please, especially not the Top Gear guys. Ugh. Besides, this would cost a ton of money (that is better spent elsewhere) and is just unnecessary .

No, just no. The 3 are equally awesome. May is not a running gag.

May could work well as a presenter in a GT game because he does share that fastidious personality that Kaz has and arguably even works better by himself, but Hammond is in no way an equal to the other two and couldn't carry the narration duties by himself.

That's why Hammond and May are as successful as Clarkson, right? Sorry to break your bubble but they don't have even 10% his influence, to the point without Clarkson those 2 simply wouldn't have appeared on TV once, and he is the one that owns 100% of new top gear while the other 2 are his employees.

James May actually replaced Clarkson on the original Top Gear before it was canned, so you're wrong there. Pretty sure Hammond also appeared on TV shows before he was on Top Gear.

yep, he appeared in like one episode but just like Hammond he was pretty much no one before new top gear, and you have to admit that those 2 are very much replaceable especially May, who is a replacement after all.

You're confusing outspokenness with capability. May has shown that he is perfectly able to host television shows that have nothing to do with Clarkson, automobiles or even comedy. He has the exact same background that Clarkson has. He just hasn't been on television as frequently.

With 1% the audience, and that's what matters if you are going to choose from 3 hosts from a different show. PD should pick the popular one, not the leftovers.

Yes I agree that Clarkson 'is' Top Gear but the other two are now very much part of the package as well, it'd be weird to lose one of them now after 10 years together.

This series was actually very popular - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_May's_Toy_Stories

14.6% of the audience.

If PD was to have a narrator in the game they should pick the one who sets the tone in the narration that they want to convey with hiring him in the first place. That could mean Tiff Needell, James May, Jeremy Clarkson or even that fat idiot from Top Gear USA.
