You pronounce Cerbera "Serbera" (sir-burr rurr) and the Chimera (soft top) "Ky-meer rurr"

And that in the background chaps, is a Nissan Primera (prim-air rurr) estate.

And i agree, the LM is a fantastic handler in this game, and earned me all my money first time round, and the young lady with the most front in the pic is my ideal woman.

In theory.

:irked:👍

Ah, a linguistics teacher runneth over... Thanks. I was a bit unclear on that.

As for me, I *ahem* fancy the one on the left...

EDIT: Or was that the lass on the car's left fender?

That's cool. I've always said "sir-bear-ahhh" and "Ky-meer-ah" :dunce: Guess I wasn't too far off.

That's cool. Back in the 90s, not a lot of people seemed to know of one here. GT1 changed all that by spreading awareness of the marque via featuring it in their NTSC-version video game. Same with Skylines.

All the people who know of one in my Latin class now have the uncontrollable reflex of saying it as 'Ker-bera'...

Yet, despite all the publicity, TVR still ended up going through yet another major financial and organizational change.

The cool thing is, games like GT (and others like Enthusia Racing that feature cars we've never heard of) no doubt help boost sales for these low-production makes. At least to some extent.

A bit off topic, but I read over and over that the reason Mitsubishi decided to sell their Evo to America was parially due to curiosity from gamers who saw the Evo in GT & Colin's rally games, and had the money to buy the real-life version. Didn't hurt that Subaru's STi had sales here, too.

Cool. I read also that the Nissan Skyline enjoyed quite a boost when featured as a car in GT. Curious yet completely logical how even video games can sell one on a product they have never seen, or do the opposite.

Me, I'm never going to own a Mitsubishi Mirage...

Yeah,...I think I'll pass on owning a Honda Life!

Ha!

But, the game only includes the performance aspect of the cars present. So who knows, maybe the Honda Life (even the T!) is popular because of its price and fuel economy, another thing not included in GT2.

Also: PD does make plenty of blunders in power figures and other items too...
