Chassis Swap List

I seem to be failing to find a proper chassis for the civic type r 08. Each one I use the wheels seem to be either to forward or too back

How much camber do you have?

Car A 👍 So if a prius chassis fits good it would handle terrible lol. I'm pretty sure...

I meant it would act like the new chassis.

Thanks for the help!
Have you ever driven a Prius?
I drive one pretty often and it isn't as bad as you think. ;)

Car A. It will have the same body, interior, and engine as Car B. However, it will have the wheel's grip coefficient, positioning of the wheels (width x length, or track x wheelbase), and positioning of the body over the wheels.

Weight and polar moment of inertia are copied, and chassis modifications act as if applied to Car A.

Downforce and drag coefficient are also copied. With no power or gearing adjustments, higher top speeds are easier to achieve by selecting a car with a low drag coefficient, such as the Z31 or ZR-1 Corvette.

In other words, the only thing that remains as Car B, is the appearance and drive-train, with the exception of new wheel placement.

Thanks for the nice explanation!
Very helpful. :)

I've kept this one a secret cause it took me a lot of time, I don't have a picture but I'll try to get one before I pack up the PS3 (moving) .. The Peugeot 905 race car chassis fits perfectly under all the R35 premiums (non race car) it give the GTR about 1" of "poke" on the front and its flush in the back.. Mixed with the ISF RM transmission and the GTR's natural "steady" torque and power curve of the motor it makes a great drift car! Enjoy!

here a few of my hybrid cars, hope u guys like them

The NSX-R chassis does not fit well with the GT86/FRS/BRZ. I tried it and the wheels are quite noticeably off, as well as sunken in.

This morning I tried the YellowHat Supra. According to wikipedia, the wheelbases are only 2cm off. The difference is hardly noticeable, and the wheels tuck nicely without insane camber. Obviously with more camber the wheels would fit in, but I don't mind the slight "poke."

Another change to make Ant:

I tried the Nissan 370Z chassis under the Volkswagon Golf VI R, and it's not a good fit. The 370Z is short by about 40-50mm.

I tried the Lotus Evora chassis, and it's a much better fit. The wheelbase is pretty bang on. There's quite a lot of poke, especially in the rear. It takes a lot of rear camber to get everything tucked away nicely. Not ideal for drifting, but it looks hella sweet when it's just slammed :)
