It's cool that we have this post for the reason to measure the time it takes to scan a car to DLC. It may not be a perfect estimate, but an estimate nonetheless.

That brings some hope that maybe...there'll be some more tracks that are drift orientated or just more cars. D1 cars would be nice.

If it they just scanned it, don't expect it until another 6+ months assuming they work on it immediately. Now they still have to do the actual modeling to align with the point cloud plus texture and material creation.

I think it'd be a great idea for GTS to expand on the drifting stuff, especially since some of the cars they picked from the Tokyo Auto Salon (at least in the years they did that) were for drifting, such as that Falken-sponsored RX-7 FC.

Sooo it needs to be asked, What group/category will said drift car fit into exactly?
And why can't PD just scan a base car aka an unmolested 370z and give the players some cosmetic enhancements in game. It will appeal to many more people, This is just a car a guy owns, It has no historic significance or anything like that so to me its basically worthless.

If ever there will be drift cars in GT Sport, they need to make a class called "Gr. D" just for them.
