Shorten the gears. The other option is to use a lightened flywheel and multi-disc clutch, but it will give the car a jumpy personality.

what do you mean with jumpy personality??i dont understand(maybe because im portuguese)...

I mean the engine will rev too freely and the engine speed will be prone to jumping when driving on bumpy surfaces.
