Let's hear it for the Yankees. They've finally impressed me. Coming into the ALCS, they were marked as the underdogs for some reason. They've just blasted out 16 runs in the first seven innings against the Red Sox. Absolutely impressive.

They deserve to win the World Series. The Red Sox have better pitching, better hitting, better fielding. The Yankees still win. The Yankees are a better TEAM.

Let's hear it for the BOSTON RED SOX!@!@@!!!!!!!!! The first team EVER to come back from a 0-3 dephecit, WE HAVE A SHOT!!!!!!!! Schilling is fantastic, arroyo is coming back to great, our hitting is sparking up, and we WILL be going to the WS this year. The yankees are having their asses handed to them on a platter, wakefield should pwn them tonight. The pressure is now on THEM to win. They couldn't possibly lose 4 straight and go home this year? Torri would be fired. I bet he's doing a lot of yelling and screaming in the clubhouse, especially after A-Rod, the pimp-daddy $25 mil/year "MVP", throws a cheap shot at Bronson Arroyo to knock the ball out. ******g pus**.

IMO the yankees deserve to go home this year. They've acted like crybabys, along with their fans. Their pitching is much worse, their hitting is mediocre at best, and they really are crybabys. They wanted a forfeit because florida couldn't fly to NY, on the case of a hurricane? Their fans are throwing balls at our players, because of a........decent call at first?

So, just for this year, let's hear it for the Red Sox. They have handled things with class, and really earned a spot this year.

I am absolutely amazed.

I'm even more amazed at Terry Francona. Sometimes it looks like he is trying to make the exact wrong move and the exact wrong time. "Hmm, I know what I can do! I'll take out Derek Lowe, who is pitching the game of his life, and I'll bring in Pedro, who's had one day's rest. Yeah, I'll do that. It makes perfect sense!"

There is no ****ing reason why Lowe should not be out there right now. NO REASON. Not a single one. He's thrown 69 pitches, allowed one run, one hit, one walk. The game was over. Now Francona has found a way to completely **** it up. If the Sox lose this game, Francona is surely going to be fired tomorrow.

He's so much worse than Grady Little in every way imaginable. I'm still in shock that Derek Lowe is not pitching.

I am from Houston, so of course I'd like to see the Astros in the World Series, but I have to admit that Cardinals and Red Sox would be more emotional. Both those teams' respective fans are the biggest die hard fans in the nation. It would be the greatest world series ever.

I am blueJays Fan, I can admit it...but this year IMO we're going to see the Astro's play BoSox...I agree with Loud that it would be better for baseball to have the cards and the bosox, but I am betting that wont happen.
