I don't want to complain but I tried to join the Classic MINI Racing Club on GT6 today and the game didn't let me do it as it's private club.

It appears I may have to download an update when I get home from work tomorrow. I have very fast internet and even large updates usually don't take more than 15-20 minutes to download and install so hopefully I can get that all taken care of in time to get into the races. I'll try to sneak out of work a bit early just in case.

My parents were from Beeston. When they moved to Seacroft it took them longer to get back home than it takes me to get up there now from Lincs. It's a small world, but I wouldn't like to have to paint it.

Thank you everyone for coming out for our last event for 2014!

It was a fun set of races, hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves.
I will go through the results and replays and post them up sometime over the next week.

It's been a pleasure meeting all of you and racing with you, and I wish everyone the best during the holidays.

I look forward to seeing all of you in 2015 for some more "Mini'ing", and remember there will be some changes to the format and we will start using the "Community" feature more.

Keep an eye on our thread for more info over the next couple of weeks.

That was really good fun. Amazingly close racing in the midfield. Your choice of tracks and the mini was a good leveller esp for a newbie like me.

Got to echo the sentiments of those chaps who loved it Mik, it was fantastic! The format of short, rapid-fire races, especially on eclectic tracks and surfaces, was absolutely brilliant. Fun packed scrapping all the way, I can't believe how close you can get to the barriers and opponents with these cars, and still not hit them (some times).

Roll on 2015 and many more events of a similar nature, I hope.
