There is a tutorial knocking about on here regarding cleaning up the standards.

It's basically photoshop work, using the pen tool to create an accurate selection area, then using the smudge or blur tools to tidy up the area.

If you use command H to hide the selection lines (the dotted fence) you can see what you are doing more clearly.

Also, it's good to do the INSIDE of the area, then invert the selection, hide, and do the OUTSIDE of the same area.

It's hard to explain in one post, but as I say there is a tutorial knocking about somewhere - I think Moglet may have posted it?

Oh one more thing - I find the best results happen when working in the LAB colour mode. (ie. NOT rgb...)

Hope that helps a little bit! :dopey:👍

i hate you ;)

edit: i just noticed what i think is a lens flare. one that actually looks good.
jerk.👍

Yeah - I always try and add a subtle one in there! ;)

Great cleanups recently by all - that Furai is superb, Nato and Ceiling Fan have been busy! Top notch stuff.

Glad this thread is still alive. :)

I tried it once, spent most time on making the wheel arches round haha

Shame it doesnt even come close to the other ones in this thread ):

if that was a black top that would be sexy and the chrome trim would pop on the window surround.

i wish the street version gt-40 from gt3 was in gt5. as a challenge can one of you photoshop wizards take the 69 gt-40 gulf car and convert it to street livery using the wheels from an ac cars 427 sc?
