I tried to clean it up

SpecialStageRoute7_24_E.jpg

Very nice. :)

^^ I do give it a go every once in a while. I agree with Miklad though. I would suggest airbrush and smudge and a ton of patience!

Fixed - kind of.

Best I can do with that one, it was a low quality original to work with - I think mainly due to FlickR resizing/compression. Still it's better than it was. :)

Time and patience. :)
For my cleanups I use GIMP because I find the pen tool for accurate selections to be easier and more flexible than other editing software. That's the key to a good cleanup - accurate selections with the right feathering options. Otherwise it's a whole lot of smudging, dodging and burning.
After smoothing out the jaggies I do the rest of my editing in PaintShop Photo Pro X4 - where I add layers of panel seams and shading/highlighting gradients etc... :)

Awesome Nato - I appreciate the time that went into THAT monster! :dopey:

Top clean up. 👍

(Glad I didn't bother, now!) :D

Love a good clean up! Just saw this thread, here are my offerings. :D

And my first attempt in GT4... bit rubbish but anyways..:

Wow nato

(FYI) - You didn't need to clean the rear wheels , I was pushing the handbrake:lol: *nato get's his flamethrower, I run away*

Thanks for that Nato, greatly appreciated.

I really should post some of my old clean ups that I haven't posted here yet so...

The shot that orignally inspired Miklad with this thread.

One of my favourite cars in GT5 in my favourite colour Hibiscus Red Pearl or Metallic or something

And again in a drag with a Stagea, the RS4 won. :)

And finally for now a RUF BTR

So that's where Hibiscus Red Pearl came from. 💡

Awesome color that is man, never would've thought it came from an RS4! :dopey:

@kennylmao - I can't remember if it came in that colour or if I painted it - was so long ago.
@iNs3CuRe - that's a nice job you've done on the Supra. 👍
