Yeah, well my origonal idea was bettered by an idea that my team-mate HMSMotorsport said ... To use premium Clio, later on that week I and others realised they weren't as fun and that we should use Racing soft tires. So many/all previous posts here about it are out of date.

Premium Clio
Racing Soft/Any tire you want (makes no difference, any other tire is slower)
Mod it however you like
BUT
Limit it to 500pp

That's final as well, will not be changing.

Sorry for confusion Gotta get it right before it starts, had great fun yesterday with them, pretty much a photo finish across the line, side by side around last corner xD

As far as I know the old standard Clio race car is to slow in the straights . So I advise you to try get the premium clio setup sorted before it starts. You have just over a week :-) also.

You will have to pit really I think. If the tires do hold out I think we should have forced pit stop anyway.

Also that is early mate :-/ sorry about that :-/

I bought today my premium clio,i modded it and gave it some laps with racing hard tires first.I was pretty dissapointed as i turned 59s.After 4-5 laps i changed them to racing soft and the car worked.After some tweaking in camber,toe,lsd and transmissions settings i hit a 56.415 on lap 11,very encouraging.I didnt try that ballast "trick" yet,there is enough space for further improving the whole setup.

The point is who can turn consistent 56s or low 57s in race conditions!

I set a blistering 55.63* with ps3dan101 and co before. epic speed.
Using wheel and paddle shifters.
Can only get low 56.*** with H-Shifter + Clutch.

Just to confirm (and thanks for the head's up) i'll be in my RS Lutecia Trophy, Racing Softs. Will ensure that my RS is at 500PP - will make adjustments to Power Limiter/Add Ballast.
